    Clutch Knock.

my beta use to make clonking noises from the clutch when cold it was because the fingers on the clutch basket where badly scored from the previous owner holding ot WOF and dumping the clutch i had to take it out and smooth it out with a file and wet and dry paper no clonks now
  8. thanks lol and in the secong pic it looks like all my graphix are scrated when really it is beacause it is so bloody shiny am getting to the point with my bike that i have polished the subframe so much it flexes alot and it really thin
  9. that pic came out rubish anyway here is another
  10. new pics of my bike recent changes -new front guard -new graphix set -got rid of some of the carbon fibre sticker stuff -new flywheel cover -new fork guards
  11. www.bvm-moto.co.uk will send you stuff to hong kong i live in jersey and my parts are always to me the next day so hong kong should be no longer than a week and you can get vat off aswell
  12. 1.i clean my alfilter every1-3 times if it is really dusty i change it after every ride if it is muddy but not wet every 3 times i ride and if it is muddy and wet every time i ride. 2.as for gear changing you do not need to be idling you can change at any rpm look at mx bikes there changin gears ast peak revs just make sure you use the clutch 3.i change my gearbox oil 4 times i ride the bike cause it is cheap and the clutch seams to work better when it has new oil and feels smoother oil is cheap so change regualy.dont no what you are supost to use in gas gas's but in my beta i use pj1 clutch tunner which is a light 80w 4.if you are using a pressure washer i would say grease them quite often as it will blast it out but i do mine along with the wheel bearings and headstock every 3 months as i only use a hose to clean the bike
  13. i got them back today it cost 22 quid including parts not bad eh. i got home and was moving one of the flock sliders up and down and it looked like the seal was leaking when it turned out to be just a little bit of oil left behind the dust seals during assembly i was realy panicing
  14. ive taken them to the shop cause i dont want to brake em.
  15. where you talking to me or yamaha dude if your where talkin to me no my bike does not have floating calipers it has floating disks if you where talking to yamaha dude the answer is no cause his bike does not have calipers
  16. try moving the liitle pushrod inwards towards the master cylinder piston by undoing the nut and using an allen key
  17. not that this has anything to do with you getting your bike running but what colour are the plastics so i can tell you what year it is if you dont already now also do what landrover said change gearbox oil for pj1 clutch tunner i use it and i think it is brilliant if you are using semi synthetic oil run it at 50:1 and if your using fully sythetic run it a 70:1 also put a new plug in it with fresh petrol and it should go maybe instantly or it make take ages who no's
  18. isn't 750 a bit steep i payed 700 for my 95 techno and it was mint just needed some new clutch plates and some rear wheel bearings that totaled to 40 pounds and most people told me that i got ripped off. im not sure what it is like where you live but round here you can pick up a good 02 bike for about 1000 pounds or year 200 for 700 quid
  19. i use finish line dry bicycle chainlube it is expensive 5 quid for 75ml it has teflon in it i use this on my chain as it does not atract much dirt and a tiny bit between the throtle tube and bar it gives a really smoth fealing and as it is a dry lube it does not attract dirt when i mean dry i mean that it is not very sticky so it does not attract dirt but the lube is a liquid
