  1. Really glad it worked My Beta can't swim without arm bands rochdale was awsome, tried a few new things there and succeeded, so i was a happy chappy, was really knackered afterwards and yesterday i was still recovering. Dean head is a great place, trialled there once about 18 months ago, did crap, i not very good you see , i just love the sport. Might have a bash at the trial myself for the laugh, !!!!!
  2. My computer runs extremely slow, they seems to be loads of processes running in the back ground, i m sure they all do not need to be running, but i have no idea what i can and can't close down. is there a programme (preferably free that can be down loaded to clean my system up ? or some help from one of you Whizz Kids ( please if responding talk in plain english and not Tech speak as i will have no idea what you are talking about. ) It may not be the processes that is slowing they system down, it was just my first stab at a partial answer. any help will be much appreciated :-)

  5. Start your bike up, pull the clutch lever in, tie the clutch lever to the grip with string or a tie wrap, put your trials clothing on, boots helmet, untie clutch lever pull clutch leaver in, select gear, hey presto, i bet it doesn't stick or drag.. worked on my old techno every time
  6. I have telephoned Eurosport before, and they do not seem to have a clue what they are doing or when anything will be on. OUR sport always seems to get pushed out by extended live coverage of CURLING,TENNIS, WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP DOMINOES (May be not dominoes, but you know what i mean) and any other BORING sports like these, they never put OUR sport on at the end, they cancel it, and put it on at another time that is not even scheduled !! I am over the moon when it is on, and no other chanel that i know of airs indoor and outdoor trials, but i do wish a more proffesional chanel was showing Trials, so at least we would have some sort of consistancy. Thats my moan for today !! Over and out !!

    Rossi

I for one really hope Rossi wins it, he is at the moment, what makes GP most entertaining, he keeps me on the edge of my seat through all of the race, because i know, even if he does not win it, that he gives 2000% effort. not like some, when they are not in with a chance , they just give up and dont try like they would if they was near the front. Rossi fights for every point and never gives in. if he wins it, i belive he will have been the only person to win all the 990cc world chapionships before they move on to 800cc. I really hope Pedrosa NEVER wins it, because off the track he looks a right miserable boring Tw*t, he has about as much carisma as a brown paper bag !! I don't see anything more special in him than say hayden for instance, they both have the same number of wins Haden has 1 more 2nd place than Pedrosa, and they are both equal on 3rd places, the only Statistic i see that Pedrosa has over Hayden, and that is Pole positions.. But you dont need to be on Pole to win. Being on Pole is one thing, Winning a race is another . Come on Rossi.. Let em have it !!!
  8. Fanatsic place, watched british trilas there, been a couple of times riding with friends and had a right good blast. Tried things there i wouldn't try at home for some strange reason, it gives you a lift being there , knowing what type's of people have rode there practising and competing with the likes of Dougie ect. also done a couple of Sean Morris days, fantastic place, we need more places like it, but sadly i doubt we will get them . Organising a trip up there with the lads in the next couple of weeks. So watch out as Pumpkin will be crashing about . Keep ya chins up lads !!!!!!!!!
  9. To be honest, i would love to see Doug back on a Beta, win his 8th world chapionship and then retire, but i doubt that will happen ( going back to a Beta i mean), or its about time they was all on 4 strokes, just to see where everyone is on a level sort of playing fieled, next year i think Fuji will be the one to beat along with our very own Doug, Cabestany will finish 3rd and Raga 4th .... Is anything set in stone yet when all bikes have to be 4 stroke ?
  10. What is the Test and Development Forum as it does not seem to be open to the puplic as such as you need a password, i only ask as there seems to be quite a lot of action going on in there. todate has been 193 topics and 1646 reponses, just being nosey thats all !!
  11. Direct Line, but the no claims you build up is with them and is not transferable. but saying that , if you build, say 3 years no claims with Direct Line and then want to try and find a better quotes ask to speak to the Under writer, as they have the power to reduce the price of the premium with the information you have given them. If you fill in a web based application form for a quote, it will ask how many years no claim he has, and he will have to put ZERO, but if you talk to an insurance company ans speak to the under writer , you can say i have been driving for 3 years on my fathers insurance as a named driver and had no accidents or claim, will you take this in to consideration, it worked for me and my premium dropped massivley.
  12. No worries mate . Let me know how you get on with them with regards to the old ones/
  13. See if this helps http://www.bandcexpress.co.uk/cgi-bin/bc_p...t=HB-DIMENSIONS

  15. Just about to put a Haywood and Scott Vortex Afterburner on Ebay if anyone is interested, will fit bug eyed onwards except the new generation 2.5ltr.
  16. loads did it. Steve colley took the p*** out of the Marshall, saying if he was on all sections that everyone would have got 75 marks each per lap because of his keen eye !!
  17. I don,t think they did one in any format, i called Duke Videos last year and they said they had no plans nor did they know of anyone that was going to produce one
  18. call Lampkins on 01535655970
  19. you can get alarms with diallers that when your alarm goes off it calls you , or one of a few numbers you have programmed in, and it does the same where you can listen in, or you can shout at them as well, to get the **** out , thats my next upgrade on the security, then after that may be a moat and machine gun towers...
  20. Tell me about it, i had my Techno nicked alongside my brand new Rev 3 and brand new road bike, all nicked in 1 heist... the scum bags.. never seen or heard of them since, they went through 3 locks on the garage door and 3 chains.. not cheep ones either.. since then, i take both wheels off and take them in to the house, the bike is chained up to a ground anchor with 3 chains, the bike is then covered with so many things, you wouldn,t know there was a bike in there , then the garage is alarmed up to the house with infared sensors and door contacts and to top it off i have a SHOT GUN ALARM for good measure. i know if someone wanted it this would not stop them, but it would slow them down a little..i also carry a police mans telescopic truncheon when i am on my travels, just in case i ever come accross one of my bikes while i am on my travels, i would know my techno as soon as i saw it. i carry the engine numbers with me at all time..
  21. My first trials bike was a 98 Techno,, loved it, even kept it as a spare bike when i upgraded to a new bike... can take loads of hammer and you won't be able to out perform it..
  22. I dont think it has anything to do with the drop offs you are doing, if the mudgaurd can't put up with a simple drop off i believe there is something wrong, look at what the top guys get up to !! I believe it is some thing to do with the make up of the plastic on the 2005 and 2006 mudguards, i exlained to Lampkins that i had not done anything extreme with my bike and they supplied me with a new one FOC, a week later it happened again, called Lampkins told them it had gone again in the exact same place, they sent me another FOC..... a week later it happened again.. so they sent me a 2004 mudguard, it has been on months and not had any problems.
