Just looked at the forecast for Sunday in the Evesham area, quite hot and sunny by the looks, possibly getting up to 72 degrees by midday, don't forget your suncream guys

I've always used yellow tank tape stuck to the mudguard and black permanent marker for the number etc, never been stopped or quizzed about it. Did make a hang down type one for the Vic Brittain, bit of plastic covered with tank tape and hung onto mudguard with two cable ties

Billy, pretty sure first to enter, first away, I see we're quite near to each other no pinching me RedBull out me bumbag
-
bloody expensive but will outlast all the other cheaper ones so cheaper in the long run, I have a H&D one at the moment, think theyve made them stronger now, no signs of bending yet

Thanks Jim
New loom definately did something, although it was still dying and picking up again as before the bike sounded very different and the throttle was better, the throttle body swap cured the dying straightaway. Theres a hell of alot of connections and wires in the 4rt, we jet wash the buggers once or twice a week and get huge amounts of mud all over them, not surprising really they can get tired. I can still see me keeping Gerts for another two years so might invest in another loom for next year as they're not too expensive.
Yer be good to catch up this year mate
-
hmmm might have a point there though mate,
I had a a few rev's the 04 was the best for build quality
-
hmmm have to disagree with that, tell that to all the stator buyers and leaking carbs riders, the boyesens make a huge difference to the rev3 along with the jetting and carb mod no matter what level of rider you are. Swapping the carb boot over makes the carb go in alot easier and removing the reed block spacer gives a little better low end power but its main plus is the carb goes in easily and the Float bowl extension helps fuel starvation when doing climbs. Fitting Boyesens are really worth doing, amazes me Beta don't stick them in as stock itmes, Dellorto carb on the rev is just pure **** material agree with the mag cover though, another fine example of Beta spending alot of time getting the bike right
-
Something Ralph tried was taking two of the clutch springs out, made the clutch really light but would slip abit on a big climb
-
27.5 pilot jet
swap carb/air box boot around
Possibly remove reed block spacer
Boyesens reeds (oh yer baby)
Float extension bowl
Carb drilling mod if leaking bad
Castrol TTS,
Jitsie air filter

Hope your mate gets that back asap mate, I was followed back from an event a couple of years ago and nearly lost my bike, this sort of thing is becoming more common these days. I won't make the final few turns to my house if theres anything driving behind me anymore, you just don't know.
-
Thats a vast improvement from last year I quite like that now
