  2. Leggins, he would have wanted to as well on a Beta, would have slid down 10 times as fast on all that petrol it would have spilled behind on the way up
  3. I'd a shat me ****ing pants anywhere near that could hardly watch it, hands watering and sphincter a pinching not keen on heights, and wouldnt have crossed that gap with a parachute on me back
  4. Heres the pics I took Clicky here
  5. where are you Graham? had mine done by BVM Moto, expect you could probably post them the carb if eaiser,
  6. Graham, swap the air box/carb boot around the other way, the outlet from the airbox is larger than the carb mouth so makes getting the carb back on easier. I also removed the spacer in the reed block inlet and although its quite thin it make putting the carb back real easy. I had the drilling mod done to my Mikuni which stopped the leaking altogether, think there is a post somewhere here about it with some pics I took of the moded carb. I see the K's are also p***ing fuel out worse than the Mikuni (if thats possible) The Surgeon used about 17 litres of fuel today at the Yennards, **** i'm gald i aint got a carb anymore
  7. Zippy course its a scam,my profile isnt charming or interesting, bet shes a lezza and wants a go on my Fat Lass

  13. Thanks for all the replies and help we made a repair on site using Araldite when it got busted ,turned the bike upside down and smoothed over the area. It survived Hawks Nest like that even though it took a fair bashing most of the day including a couple of big offs and bike cuddling at the bottom of one of the big boulders. No leaks at all but I think I will get it sorted with one of the suggested compounds in the next couple of weeks. Thanks again Just

  16. Thanks for the replies lads just been down Patels Motorists Discount Centre and come back with a few fixes First up is the J-B Weld, yes you can get it in the UK EdHolland, good shout mate, also got Thermo Steel for exhaust mainifolds etc,Leak Fix and QuikSteel Epoxy paste. Mr Patel recons all four will stick like **** to a Japati so fingers crossed for tomorrow Thanks again
  17. Been a bit unlucky with this one, a small stone got wedged through the holes in the bash plate and when the bike bellied out on a pillar section we had going caused a small crack in the bottom of the cranckcase. Its not leaking very much, just a small bleed but needs sorting. Anyone got any ideas of how to seal it up without welding as its quite near the gasket and I really dont fancy splitting the engine The 4rt gets pretty hot on the cases so a heat resistant filler maybe the answer, seems theres not much pressure in the case where its split else it would have spurted out fairish. Any ideas would be great Thanks
  18. How you doing Mac, I'll see what Ralph wants to do but I know hes well keen on Hawks as hes not been there before for a practice, good luck with the Trial if we dont make it and see you at the Bemrose no doubt
  19. Thanks guys, cant wait to try the 4rt on some proper rocks at last
  20. Few of us thinking of going this Sunday, does anyone know if its open for practice? Thanks
  21. Leave the heavy bits on the fat lass, its the weight and size that makes it so stable and easy to ride
  22. haha well done kinell, what you going to do with the steam powered pressure guage etc etc to be fair though Dans always been well up there even on the Skoda but since hes got the new bike its taken him up a level, weve got no chance now of even beating him on a single section. He rides Expert and still is and has had a bloody good run past few weeks...Good on ya Clarkey, keep it up mate
