Yamahaty250xox, youve averaged about 3 posts per week this year about problems with the bike.........................................for **** sake sell the ****in thing.
At a guess the pilot is too small or theres **** in the pilot system, use TTS in high octane unleaded, could even be pilot is too big and flooding the system, not sure about 125 settings but 44 seems a big jet

PJ1 filter oil is great, used it for years on Betas and now the Mont, the PJ1 spray cleaner is really good as well, just disolves the muck from the filter.

Not seen that actual one Pete, thats the toughest crossing Ive seen yet though, I can feel a s**t coming on and to do it on a Gasser makes it twice as risky
-
Heard of quite a few Betas having this problem as did mine, helicoil as above is the answer go to your local garage or plant hire place and they should be able to do it for a fiver or so, time sert fixings are good as well.
-
Christ Steve!!!!! you'll be hung, drawn and quartered for posting this in the Scorpa forum

I use a cleaner called PEEK, buy it off Ebay and it cleans just about anything, bit like Autosol but much better and can be used on many surfaces

One of these lads or lasses are going to get seriously hurt or killed one day, sections are getting bigger year by year especially the indoor trials. I dont even bother watching the indoors now its like an extreme sport that has no conection to what most of us do every week.
-
Practice, practice, practice, I spent weeks trying to do sit down wheelies with bugger all improvement then one day I could do it easy? just keep trying and as said above make sure the brakes covered all the time
-
BPR5ES plug, best super unleaded you can get, shell is good, mix with Castrol TTS 70ml per 5 litres, if you can get AvGas mix 50/50 with superunleaded, Betas love good fuel

Tom, first time for me and the Legend this year but I have done a few of their club trials at the Yennards. Always run smoothly, no stupid sections and a great bunch of riders so the 2 day should be no different. I think the Saturday sections are run backwards so abit easier and Sundays the proper way round, not sure how many laps or number of sections but the Yennards is a quality bit of ground with just about every type of terrain going including a rocky stream
Not too much hopping on the hard route and most of the sections involve riding over something an awkward way rather than massive steps, somehow the course plotters manage to stick in a couple of options for the riders line wise which is clever so every section is well thought out. Theres usually a great burger van at the trials and spares back up/tyre van as well so hope they are both on site on the weekend for grub and breakages.
