  1. I think you have too much oil in it.
  2. Are you sure the clutch is not just slipping. I remember your old posts and video. The clutch will just barely slip and will cause the problems you are having.
  3. Does it not rev up at all. Or does it rev, but not go at all.
  4. No and they were rather sluggish. You probably need to ride another one for comparison.
  5. Bike Stand Aluminum box for oil or parts. 3 feet of clear hose, that is all you ever need to bleed hydraulics. WD-40 I buy it by the gallon. Firm believer in Maxima lubricants. Box of spare parts. I hate waiting for spares.
  6. Remove and clean the head. Have you ever jetted the bike. Also fuel and oil play into this, as well as an over oiled air filter.
  7. You could just add the number of teeth you added then cut to fit.
  8. http://www.biketiresdirect.com/product/genuine-innovations-ultraflate-plus-co2-inflator?utm_campaign=products&utm_source=google&utm_medium=base&adl=1&gclid=CK36-quEqL8CFQQOaQodUz4AKw Fits in a tool kit, fanny back, camel bak. This has been the way it`s been done for years, or just carry a tire pump.
  9. This time of year it should not be much different depending on who is riding it. Some times when a fan is just starting to go bad you can actually push start it. (Spin it with your finger)

    Front Brake

Bent disc, no free play, pad issue. broken spring in master cylinder. I have also seen the lever bolt too tight and when brake used it would keep the wheel locked.
  11. It`s spring out, always has been when taking a measurement. It actually says take the spring out dump the oil and refill. Remember it is a translated version.
  12. Flagstaff, Arizona club is strong. Close enough to ride with us or Cali without the pain. In fact I should have moved to Arizona when I was younger for the same reasons.
  13. I saw a few of the Blue ones have this issue. The fix was to dimple the cases with a punch.
  14. You loosen the bolt slightly (Do not remove) Then just open the kick start. It basically will pry it self off. Fast and easy once you have done it.
  15. More likely it is the condition of your gas can.
  16. The early Sherco`s had an issue of the mains spinning in the cases. Also a bad bearing can make all kinds of noise.
  17. Trouble is there is not much too the kick start gear. Being it`s about only 1/3 of a complete gear. Your starter position is just fine.
  18. Do not just jump on it, you have to make sure it is engaged. It takes a fast kick to work. I sometimes have the same trouble, I just get my big kid to start it. The funny thing is it`s a 300 Raga and the previous owner sold it for not being able to start it!
  19. The BP stands for projected reach. Its longer. You can use a bp5es- bp8es. I always ran a BP5es , but we are at high elevation.
  20. Glenn you scoring this weekend?
  21. Sounds like a plan. You drive like we do here in the southwest!
  22. That would be why he did not notice it!
  23. Sure it was not an Econo model. Those were the clamps used on the 38mm forks.
  24. If we were young, I`d say practice like hell. My suggestion would be the weekend before get 4 hours of good hard riding both days. Go out and ride a loop ( I know you have some space) of fairly easy sections, then make them harder the second loop. On that loop ride them till you clean them. Tottaly wear yourself out that weekend. Monday and Tuesday work on the bike. Wednesday ride hard for one hour in the yard you have. Show up to the event one day early. Ride for two hours just getting used to the terrain. Park the bike have some cold refreshments with your buddies (Competitors too, let them know how great it is to be riding!) Sneak off to bed early, Good Luck!
