2016 Montesa Rr 300
Yes, but let us all be honest. When was the last time that you read a trials bike test and thought.." wow yes, that was a real and proper test and they really went through that bike and highlighted all the pros and cons of it" "" Or most likely, is it fact that the last 250 tests that you ever read about all makes and models say that " this bike this year is now the best ever, and much improved over last years model that was not that great at all" Even though we said it was great last year...!!! Go figure on how much you would much trust you would place on a test in the media.... You will prob get a more open and honest test here as not many on here are on a tip ;-) Anyway, the new 300rr is the best bike ever, and i say so

Sorry Guys, no correction needed on your part, and your link was much appreciated. It was just 'suggested' to us that we should say who had done the work and where the bike came from! I thank you

Some people like playing with and modifying their bikes Dabster in between and even before riding them. Same as you like talking about it on here every other minute spending more time chatting rather than riding yours

2016 Jotagas
Seem to recall you often promoting the independent Montesa man and NOT the importer Dabster for the 4rt's As least Haven are giving it a go, and as usual here, getting knocked for trying. Despite months of people wondering why there are no bikes, when there are, everyone wants to know who is importing them?

Ready To Trial Weight Of Repsol Replica 4Rt
Changing heavy stuff for light stuff and it cost a lot less than a new bike. Standard steel hangers, standard full exhaust system, but just a bit of fun.

Ready To Trial Weight Of Repsol Replica 4Rt
People who go on about the weight debate...eat less etc is a constant joke. When a bike falls on you, gets stuck in a bog, needs picking up etc would you be happy to have to deal with a 100kg bike if you manage your own weight down to 10 stone say, or would you rather have to move about 30 kilos less whether you weigh 10 or 18 stones!! So just think about it for a bit and stop being silly. Weight can be advantageous in some areas and the absolute minimum in others. Yes a bike gets covered in mud and all your precious weight saving goes down the pan, or does it? 10kilos of mud on say a gasser pro makes it weigh the same as a 4rt ish, and 10 kilos of **** on a 4rt makes it 86 kilos for example...Why would a lot of the pre 65 and twinshock guys go far to change the bikes and get them down to such low weights? Btw, my 2002 Cota 315 weighs 68.1 kilos with half a tank of fuel

Exhaust Fumes
More to the point, and this really winds me up, why do folk feel the need to have the bike running at all when there are loads of riders ahead waiting to go. Once the bike has been running at bit and is warm it is fine, I just fire up when the rider before me enters the section. But then you get the throttle blippers who are desperately either trying to keep the flipping thing running , usually on a smokey old banger or just presumably think they are ace by sitting there twisting the throttle.... Just kill the bloody thing and save on everything!!!!!! And relax...............................

New Forum For New Vertigo Brand
That is exactly what I was saying! Same thing, one to make and one to lose. Not many in Big business could claim to be NOT morally corrupt. As you say, vertigo. Bring on the loss leader
-
New Forum For New Vertigo Brand
I certainly do not pretend to know the ins and outs of tax laws. I do know a few motorsport firms that have 2 similar sounding business's , and they run one at a loss and offset tax against the other? I have no idea how it works.. But the statement still stands....clever big business try to make it look like they have lost money so to avoid paying tax, re recent cases... Anyway, whether folk like it or not, they may not necessary be in it to make money.
-
New Forum For New Vertigo Brand
My personal opinion is that folk seem to get in a tizzy about whether they will make money or not, on this project or that. Not all successful businessmen do all things to make money. Clever ones do things to lose money and pay no tax. Others are simply very passionate and proud about their own personal interests and like to succeed in them and also like to be able to boast about what they have made/do/enjoy etc. Maybe there is money being thrown it this bike as a 'see what I can do project and if it breaks even great.' They are certainly going for the top PR by heading straight for Doug. I personally think the more the merrier, and if new firms come up with new ideas, it makes the rest sit up, take notice and up their own game/development. God bless the UK for knocking everyone, every single day for trying to be different! Lots of us do things because we can, and not because it makes sense!! I do it every bloody day
