  1. Oh yea, that is right, it was 25 DVDs, that won't work on a UK DVD player. Cheers DFW
  2. nottoogood, Not many are at first. What Scorpa do you have? Welcome Aboard DFW
  3. Please accept my humble apology for the shabby treatment Gordon Brown received during his recent visit with Obama. I am not fond of Prime Minister Brown but 25$ worth of CD's as a gift is pretty niggardly. Maybe Obama is out of money after spending trillions on pork. Cheers DFW
  4. I use it for tedonitis. I don't sell it. You can get it a some health food stores. Arnica is also good. For arm pump I make sure that I don't wear a watch or anything tight on my wrists. I also put electrolite water in my Camelbak. Cheers DFW
  5. Have you tried an analgesic cream like Traumeel? It is expensive but works great. Cheers DFW
  6. Your friend should be using 80:1 full synthetic. Have him get a carbon fiber exhaust guard and then have him run the pi$$ out of it. The exhaust will get very hot (boot burning hot). Had this happen to my 03 SY many times when learning to ride (still can"t ride very well). I never opened the throttle even to clean the bike out. Hope this helps Cheers, DFW
  7. I would like a new bike. Being of Scottish ancestry I am interested in a deal. Being of Scottish ancestry I am always suspicious of a good deal. What do you think? Any problems with the 2005 frame? SHERCO TRIAL ECONOMY 2.9
  8. Scorpa SY250s have a slave cylinder which operates the clutch linkage. Some times the linkage can bend and the master cylinder will not let the fluid back into the reservoir. Take off the cover and make sure that when you operate the lever full stroke can see the vent hole become uncovered. Press on the clutch linkage lever into the slave cylinder and see if fluid comes into the master cylinder reservior. You may have to take the nut off of the clutch lever adjustment screw and place it on the opposite side.

    Scorpa?

Dinoziv, The Scorpa SY250 is a great bike with which to learn to ride trials. You will find that many people start on a Scorpa. Scorpa only makes trials bikes and does not have the budget that other companies have to spend on professional riders. You will find that there are many expert and master riders who ride Scorpa. Check out these guys. Welcome to Trials DFW
  13. Mark, Please remember to separate Flying from Trials. Below is a picture of a Cessna 180 I was in back in 1974. The pilot tried a couple of trials moves while landing. He first tried a wheelie and then a splater. We ended up going over the bars. Cheers Doug
  14. cman, The Sony looks like a nice camera. We are thinking about buying a Canon HF100. It uses a SDHC flash card instead of tape. The only thing that it lacks is an eye-level viewfinder. Since it's purpose will be mostly to record trials that might be a problem. Thanks DFW
  15. cman, What video camera do you normally use? Thanks DFW
  16. I am afraid that the Lamb Bhuna is not the only thing missing!!!!! Cheers DFW

  18. These are all great ideas but Tony Down has got us all beat with his bike cleaning techniques. The real way to clean a bike
  19. I use 600 ml of Mobil 1 synthetic ATF. Works great. Cheers DFW
  20. I have a metal throttle tube and don't want to risk galling! DFW
  21. I use powdered teflon to lube the throttle tube and pulley. Works great. I have used teflon mold release with good results as well. Just remove the pulley cover and squirt the powder in. Ciao DFW
  22. Take a look at the ends of the rod there will be polished indentation in one end of the rod made by the ball.
