Hi again , i did a bit of research and came up with a 237 ,but it as tx250 stamped on the frame ,and 1983 stamped in under the petrol tank .....

hi , no it says 124.4cc 250 on the engine but it does look near same as 240 , just wondered if crank cases are same and gearbox maybe .I think the 240 may have a larger flywheel ....

Hi everyone , ive just bought myself a new toy , its a 1983 125 professional (model tx 250) .Its a bit under powered but is really nice to ride. Anybody no if there are any wider footrests that will fit without too much work ( grinding welding etc). Also will the frame ,forks , engine bottom end be the same as the 240 ? .........Many thanks keith

If that fails use more petrol, burn your bike, then buy a bultaco

Hi wayne , Forgot to tell you i fitted taper roller bearings for the steering , and ive got pursang mx foot pegs loads better than originals ,Nigel dabster will be on soon with his 51 mods ..Cheers Keith

I've used pirelli and michelin tubeless tyres on my bulto with no problems , tyre soap and a compressor do the job , not sure if fantic use the same rims ........

Hi everyone , i have a slight leak on my alloy tank on my bully 340 , as its just been recently painted i dont fancy getting it welded just yet .My question is are the liquid tank sealers around any good, anybody recommend a good one .....Thanks in adavnce

Hi again woody ,yeah when its revved up its ok ,just on very low revs and tickover it sounds like its going to self destruct (scary) .Do 325cc top ends fit straight on ....

Hi Greeves ,its on standard bing carb ,its had a good clean - blow out ,the slide is quite worn , could this be the problem?.A friend of mine heard it today and he said it sounds like the piston hitting the head .But i had the barrel and head off a couple of weeks ago to check things ,and everthing looked ok apart from the bit of piston play . But the noise to me does sound mechanical.

Hi everyone ,im after some help .My bully 199b as a really bad top end rattle on tickover (sounds like piston slap to me )then clears when revved .Its just had a new pattern piston,little end bearing and a rebore (not the best rebore i've had done )it had a bit of play ,but guy measured it and said nothing to worry about so i put the top end on.Anybody else had a problem before ....Thanks .....Also should have said it only started to rattle after about 2-3 litres of petrol ,running it around my yard .
