Whats the crack with the 08 carb, i took mine off today to clean it, i had hell of a job to get it off i had to take the airbox off just to get it out, then i noticed the piece of wire you turn for the tickover had come out of the hole and wouldnt stay in when i put back, and also the carb was a bitch to put back on, anyone else had any problems.

Or you could have said hovis is taking dougie"s place in the team.

I must be lucky mine has done about 8 hours without rubbing through.

The trouble is you"ve got long pockets and short arms.

They do come out with a struggle, i done two on my 06, cant remember which way though sorry.

Ive had 270 beta"s since 02, i would say the 08 is a much better bike than the 07, but they all feel nicer when they are new.

Alpinestars are a top notch boot but i found they go tatty very quick.

my mate had a gasser after a beta and he hated it, the amount of crap that gets in the airbox is unreal, the maintenance was to much, he is back on a beta now.

Yeah i love it you cant get me out of it, Drives like a car, quiet if you have the bulkhead, wicked heaters, and its only 300 quid to insure it.

I have just bought an 03 Peugeot Expert with three seats, plenty of room for the mrs and kid, its a lot more comfatable than my mrs clio sport and better on juice.

An easier way is to get a socket that fits flush inside the bearing and tap the socket with a hammer.

The 2002 has 1 pipe the 2003 has 2 pipes.

The 07 270 comes with a fast action.

I got to admit im with Eddie on this one, ive had five beta"s and never had a problem with the carb, but you must turn the petrol off if you leave it facing downhill.

Ive had staters go on my o3 and 04, but no problems on my 05, 06, 07.
