I have a 07 270 and have taken the weight off, it depends what type of terrain your riding, its better on the bigger stuff, i think it grips better than the 250, my mate got a 250 and it seems to spin out quicker than mine, this is my second 270, i had three 250.

I had the same problem on my 03 05 and 06, common fault i think.

Neon im telling you dont listen to them, i done mine on my 06 and only took the chain off, it can be done, no blood whatsoever.

Ive changed two rear brake pedals on the 06 and 05, it was a bit of a pig but i didnt use any tool. Just realised what a BFH is.

Im with you r2w im on my seventh beta and never had a problem, hope to bump into you when you come to Wales.

I think i will try it Sunday and if im crap i can blame the jet, cheers ill let you know.

Thanks betarev3, would you recommend put in the 27.5 or is it a case of put it in and try it.

Ive had three 270 betas and always liked them but ive just bought an 07 and it seems to have a lot more power than the previous models.

Ive been out today on it and now i feel like ive been ten rounds with Tyson.

Hi does anyone find the 07 beta 270 a lot more powerful than the 06, I usually take the flywheel weight off but i dont think ill bother yet as it is very sharp as it is, just wondering if anybody else finds it snappy.

sounds like you need to undo the adjuster on the lever a little bit.
