hop blip and a jump

I heard about a part of the inner engine casing breaking on a few, i think it's was something to do with the kick start?? On one of the centre crank cases!! Definately not just a bolt?!?

Just wondered if anybody has had much trouble with there 4 stroke trials bikes??? i've heard something about a casting breaking inside a 4rt motor??? and rev4 head gaskets?? anybody know of other faults???

i like the look of that bike. I'm sure the different factorys are trying out different setups on there bikes, but it would be nice to see something very different from the norm!!! P.s. that dude with the box on his noggin is pretty funny too!!

i'm not slagging 4 strokes off!!! Why whould i have bought one if i thought they were junk!! I can't believe how much of a strop on a few people are getting !! and this all started about a question about de-resricting a mont!

The beta and scorpa are the quietest 4 strokes, what i was getting at is when you start de-resticting any 4strokes most of them end up sounding pretty loud!!! ever heard a quiet CRF??? And how can you compare a standard bike to a factory bike??? they are fully tuned for awesome grunt thats needed for the sections they ride so they deserve to have a bark!!! And what i mean't by spending on the 4rt, was from what i've been told the sump gaurd is made of butter and the footpegs and hangers are not much good!!!!!!! And thats what i've been told be people who own 4rt's I don't fancy spending 5 grand on a bike and then have to spend another few hundred on it!!!! I know that the scorpas got a developed wr engine , well isnt the 4rt motor based on a crf lump!!!!!!!!!!

I've hurt my wrist racing in the weston beach race a couple of weeks ago and it's giving me agro!! And i broke my knee on a gasser about 7 or 8 years ago, i still limp sometimes from that!!!

Thats one of the reasons i didnt want a 4rt, i don't want a trials bike that sounds like a crosser!! And i dont want to pay 5 grand on a mont and then have to spend more on it to make competitive.

what i like about bigger engines is you can roll the throttle off onto tickover on a bank and it'll still pull because of the torque. without having to scream the guts out of it!
