What year, before "10 there was a rubber that attaches to airbox in there to fill gap!
  3. I should add that those side case components are considered consumables on a bike thrown at the rocks! Replacements are inexpensive ant not worth a lot of work. If I want to dress up, I just save the old ones for spares.
  4. That will not effect drag, or feel I think! This is just to minimize clearances for consistency!
  5. Rattle can enamel generally works fine and is easier to retoutch but powdercoat is the most durable, yet hardest to retoutch.

  7. For real men wit big'uns!
  8. That don't look to good!
  9. The Kiehin carb has an overflow tube that extends up into the fuel bowl which connects to the outlet at the left front bottom of the bowl. Josstling of fuel in the bowl may lead to a minor splash out the tube when riding. If floats or valve were stuck or leaking, you would get a steady stream so possibly just normal. If it runs fine other than an occasional spatter, I would not be concerned, however a good clean is always a good thing, if you do not screw it up in the process. They can be finiky!
  10. It is just to steam them off. The brakes on Billy's car hit water on occasion I would guess, time to trade it!
  11. The bog is normal from low revs on 125. It is a bit over carbed(same carb and jets as 2.5 and 2. 9 for that). It is a rev and go machine Put the stator plate mark back to the right edge of the top casting web and it will be fine.
  12. Why would you?

"I DIY like crazy and don't really pay attention to people or warning signs telling me that "you can't" or "you shouldn't". I personally feel that puts unnecessary boundaries on ones self." I hear you man, we don't need no help screwing things up, bro!

Shaft is likely bent where it enters the piece in top as pictured( which is the way mine is oriented on "12 bike). Not sure where you are located, but contact Splatshop UK, as I believe they can fix it up for about half the cost of a new, or just order yourself an Ohlins! It is , how you say, knackered!
  24. Your wrists click? Try using air tools man! You are old now! If some of these folks think one can even access many areas with torque wrench, I hate to inform them they are sadly mistaken.
