looking to get my beta MOTed in the near furture..I've got all the relivant forms from DVLA and Lamkins. Just need MOT advice regarding daylight use and tryes... I use michellen X11 compertion tryes that say on them not for road use.. Are these going to be ok for the mot or do i need to change them for road going tryes like a prillie mt 43...???? I understand that i do not need lights for a daytime mot but need a continus sounding horn.. Can i wire this to the beta electics without the lighting loom to say another kill switch... thanks for any help

Fork Oil - LEFT Take out the spring. Fork fully compressed, 120mm air gap at top of fork... RIGHT Fork fully compressed, 60mm air gap at top of fork... on the right leg its good to work the damper a bit so you get the right amount....

Not herad of a pirelli tubeless trials trye, are they new?? I've used pirelli MT 73 which where a nice trye . can't seem to get them any more and i've put MT 43 on my yam IT 200 for the road work its going to do.. where have you seen the tubeless ??

Best way would be to drill the the remaining and fit a good stud extractor into the hole. You should fine the heat of the drilling has done most of the job for you. good luck

I ride a 2000 rev3 270 and after haveing the engine rebuilt its become a bit of a handfull power wise.. i know there is a thinner base gasket to higher the compression so i'm thinking of putting two maybe three normal gaskets in to lower it .. anyone tryed this before or am i barking up the wrong tree..

finally got in the workshop today and sorted the clutch out... yes it was the ball bearing that sits in the middle of the two push rods that was missing.. fould one that fits and alls well now... thanks for all the help...

beta rev 3 clutch prombles.. Ok so i've had my motor rebuilt by my local beta dealer. New mains and seals new gear box bearing and seal new piston, rings and pin +small end bearing. Got the motor home and fitted to bike,put new oil and coolant in and gave it a kick and started up fine. Sounds really sweet.. Right heres the problem,,,, bleed the clutch up so know bubbles are comming out, but the leaver has gone rock hard ... took off slave cylinder and the clutch works as it should, pumping the piston in.. bolted slave cylinder back on and the clutch has gone hard again. I've looked though the parts pages and and everythink looks to be in place as it should... The only thing i have changed is the clutch hose which looks like this.

I'm with sam on this one... Be good for the better riders out there to us novices some tips.. go on Andy sort it out for us wobblys....

beta rev3 270 yaer 2000 air box.. I'm looking for any idears to keep the muck out of the air box on my rev3 year 2000..i seem to for ever be cleaning muck out the carb and takeing the air box off and washing the inside out.. i'm useing unibond super all purpose silicone sealent when puting the air box back together and around the rear mud guard where it meets the frame also.. Do the new rev3 have this same problem or is just the older modles??? Spoke to lamkins about it and they said upgrade to 06 air box, but wanted
