Hi All,
I've put a linkage kit on mine, while I had it all in bits I put one of the service free dog bones
on plus a later showa shock off a 4rt, the back end is nice and plush now..
was thinking about footrest hangers but I heard the Raptor and Jitsie (for a 4rt) ones wont fit a 315
as the 315 frame is thicker, so does this mean the only option for 315s are the stock hangers ?

Yep! mint ones go for reasonable money nowadays an 01 went for 2k
a few week ago and an unused 04 was on ebay for about 10 mins before
it went...

I did a direct access in Novemeber cost me 600 quid, I was quoted 390 to do it on a 125.
I figured if i was going to do it was worth paying the extra 200 quid to ride a 600 for the
three days..
The only mistake I made was doing it Scotland in November !!! it was freezing having never ridden
a rode bike it didnt realise how cold it gets on a road bike especailly on a motorway..

Hi Moogster,
Glad to hear you have finally got your bike running good!
Was just wondering how you fit a PWK to a Mont I'm presuming you got new rubbers
inlet and airbox side or did you stretch the standard ones to fit?
Cheers

Hi All,
I'm also after some after market hangers for my 315, and was looking at the 4rt Jitsie ones.
I guess if you cant fit 315 hangers to a 4rt then the Jitsie 4rt ones would'nt fit?

Hi All,
There was a recent thread on this forum about buying items from the Josep Banyeres site (Fujis Minder if you did'nt know).
For one reason or another it turned a bit unsavoury!! anyway I took the plunge and ordered a few items this involved sending
a payment to Europe cost me ten quid (twenty seven quid for next day payment ) and about twenty quid for P&P!
I ordered the gear a week gone friday and it turned up yesterday six working days in all it would have been quicker if I'd
paid for the fast p&p and payment.
I've now got mesen a Mitani Work style long pipe, bash plate and Kevlar air box (for a 315) I thought I'd have to take a trip to Japan to
get that sort of stuff so I'm well chuffed. I'll post a couple of piccies of me pride and joy when I get em fitted.

As far as I can remember....
2002 had different frame geometry
2003 had different engine porting
2004 nought mechanically (though mudguards and decals different)
hope that helps!

to drill out the rivets on the standard brace and what size rivets I need for the
Jitsie one?

Hi there,
See below the Mitani ones look nice, I;ve been meaning to get one for a while for mine.
Thought i may be able to get one via the shops that stock Mitani stuff for 4rt's. The
sumpguards look the business as well!

Hi All,

a search on the interweb but can't find anyway. Anyone got any ideas of where I could
pick up some?

Hi All,
My 315 has been resting in the shed for over a year now and I was thinking it was about time
she had a run out. Though I can't kick her into life, although the bike was in tip top tune when
last used.
I'm guessing the petrol has gone off and I need to flush out the carb and tank and refill with
fresh fuel. That was my first plan of action.
Any other ideas of what I should look at ?
Thanks in advance

Both very nice machines...
a couple of questions ?
1, 315rr have you polished the frame on your bike ?
2, Subira what's the front pipe on your bike
Will take some pickies of my 04 next time I'm out on it

Hi,
I dont confess to be any sort of twinshock expert but to me it
looks like a 349 with a 348 tank/seat units and tailpipe!

Hi All
I've had an 01 and currently got an 04. There was a couple of years gap between me having the 01 and
the 04 so could'nt do a back to back test but my 04 certainly has plenty of juice... Best thing about it
is I'm away a lot with work so only get chance to ride every couple of months and it allways starts
second kick!!
Most people when I'm oot on it say what a nice bike it is and they wishe they had'nae got shot of their
old un
Cheers
