Do you have a template for the new footpeg plate? What footpegs did you use?

Unfortunately the files would be pretty large, which means more bandwidth, which means more cost.
And then there are copyright issues. This may or may not be a problem, but I'd think that any host would want to try to avoid problems.

Depends on how hard you hit the carb with the hammer.
-
Ok, it should be fixed now.
-
Did anyone mention patience?
You can't let it sit long enough with WD-40 (although I prefer Liquid Wrench).
-
You have the oldest Series 2 so far.
-
Which version?
Can you let me know if it works with Firefox?

That seems really cheap for the tires. Find some vintage rider, I'm sure they will take them off your hands for that price. Heck for that price even with shipping I might entertain the thought.
-
It's on a disk or DVD, probably at work. Don't worry, I won't forget. I know my cousin has a copy of the files too.
btw, you may be able to see the headlight and finance most of the restoration.

These were posted over in the Sherpa T Yahoo Group a couple years ago. You may need to be a member to view more.

Do you mind sharing your serial number?
-
Apparently you overlooked the seat and sissy bar.
-
Where are you located at?
Yes, there was a PDF of the manual that you can download. The website that was hosting it apparently didn't renew their site.
I should have the files somewhere, give me a little time to dig them up. They're archived somewhere.
There are some serious TY experts here, no decent question will go unanswered.

What I was looking for was a frame without the engine.
Pretty sad that I know that the first picture is M490060 just by looking at it.
Anyone else having problems view the page I made?

Is Series 1-3 the accepted unofficial designations? As with any historians, we basically can "record" history as we see it.
That is my goal, to pinpoint when the change was made between Series 1 and 2.
I merged the two pages, I had thought I might have more content than I did. Revised to show Series 1-3.
I would like to have a better picture of a Series 1 or 2 engine cradle area. Anyone?
M49 Model History

My guess it that the factory didn't consider the shock mount change to be a major change (worthy of a Series number), whereas the different frame tubes were. So the Series 1-3 was not recognized by the factory. I'm not sure if it was fabricated by Woody or was noted by dealers and distributors at the time.
I have to go back and look at my notes to see if I can figure out when the shock mounts were moved during the first Series. Since it was not recognized (as far as I can tell) by the factory I think I'll call it Series 1.5, and why not, it just adds to the confusion.
Web pages can be found here.
Series 1 and 2 pages.
As mentioned, all comments, changes and additional pictures welcome.

As Dave knows I've been tracking the M49 changes for a while. I'm currently putting together some web pages to track the updates along with the many pictures I've collected. I'll then ask folks to proof the pages for accuracy.

Also depends on the bike. Smaller engine may need more revs so quicker throttle may help.
-
I'm out East for Christmas and it's 12F just outside of DC. At least I'm missing all the snow/ice in Portland.

I think the Trustees vote on post-1979 trials bikes was listed in a recent VV.

I had intended on taking action shots. We'll get some the next time we go.

A couple pictures from some riding we got in today.
The Montesas were a little finicky. One started fine cold but the idle was a little high. As soon as I dropped the idle down it wouldn't start. I think it maybe a too small of a pilot jet. It has a nicely resleeved Amal 627. It should have stock jets. Plenty of compression tho'.
The 123 is a hoot to ride but too small for me. It feels like my elbows are going to hit my knees. But with the bigger wheels it's a killer setup. Weighs almost nothing.
Not a bad way to spend an afternoon. Beats working.
Alan_nc's M92. Needs a rear muffler but otherwise rides fine. Oh, maybe different bars.
Anyone want to guess the mods on this bike?

I would have brought one of my bikes but they wouldn't have fit in my suitcase. And I think the airlines have a weight limit that a Bultaco will easily exceed.

I have a bad feeling that this will involve Alan pointing to a path and saying, "Say, that doesn't look to bad, Dave. Give it a try."
60ft precipice on the other side...
Pictures later.
