Im pleased for you,but in all fairness that number is'nt exactly the the entire population of the UK trials world. The rule the FIM are about to lay down will be for the wrong reason,thats the issue i have,Sound's like the Fim are bending over for the manufacture's,when that reason changes again and it will do when money come's back to the manufacture's the rules will go back as is. As said above the WTC,BTC is still going to be bone breaker's for the less talented and Trials at club level will still find riders doing what they like in section's. I would say bike development has everything to do with what we have today.I remember when riding as a schoolboy in mid 80's when the yamaha and fantic came out with the mono's and front disc brake's,kid's was getting these bike's and started doing some very strange thing's on them,well the was'nt doing them things on there twinshock drum brakes the week before.

Problem is your not riding simple bike's. Go back to making the bike's big and heavy with twinshock's,then your get your simple rule's/simple sport back. Don't forget thing's went off track in the 80's and have been ever since,that's alot of years we have to put right,i say it's not possible.

It looks you found your answer yesterday.Im sure the kid's knew they could of cleaned the section without stopping,but they wanted to hop around to master the art,thats how they want to ride.

This is the part im not getting.Club's already have the option if they want to run complete Non Stop or Stop or both,i guess the problem is if the club chose one side they lose the other side. What the FIM decide here is all about the WTC and nothing else. If WTC go Non Stop will we all follow it around the world??

I wonder if this would of been decided if we was'nt in a credit crunch,i don't think so. I still find it odd that we are still the only country talking about this,it can't be April allready.

There's not alot of diffrence really. Problem we have at club level,alot of rider's grade themselve's as Expert's when there really still novice's and so it goes down the line. It used to take some years to get to Expert status in Trial's,nowaday's people mangage to get in the Expert route within 2 months of joining Trials,i'll have some of what there on please.

Maybe add abit of Freestyle aswell.

The Top Team's own the rule book,have done since the 80's.Our Governing Bodies should have jumped in back then.But they did'nt.If they did would we be enjoying the extremely light and trick looking bike's. WTC goes No stop next year in a couple of years time it goes back to Stop.And we all follow.

I think you might be right,If there going to go full non stop in world trial there going to have to make the section's 1000 time's as mad as anyone will ever find at a club trial,so your still not going to see a very good Expert rider from a club wanting to have a pop at a world trial. What we had we had your never get them days back again.

Will it be that simple. We're left with aload of kid's bouncing around on bike's,more likley to get breakaways.

Seem's that we are on the cutting edge of Trials over here,no one else seems to be talking about this.

Sound's like a good idea to give them there own class,if there not happy with riding against themselve's on the day stick them in the mono class. Atleast your looking at the problem OTF and not just pretending it's not there.

Hi Glenn. I bought mine off Ebay here in the UK just last week.The guy done a Top Quality restoration job,he's left me to put the first scratch on her. Im now looking for a 80cc barrel and head from the FM430 engine to fit onto the FM330 engine,(same engine),i've even been told that you can fit a 100cc sleeve into the barrel with a suzuki piston.We will see. Im going to fit a 400 x 18 rear tyre and a 275 x 21 tyre on the front to see if she like's it or not. Since i picked the bike up i've had little time to have a good look into thing's,i do know it's the proper SHA flatside carb fitted and sure it's the 14/12,i'll check when i get the chance,it rev's out lovely but im having trouble finding a nice idle,bearing in mind how old the carb is i will put the poor idle down to age of carb,Time to treat it to a new one i think.Dellorto still have the correct carb for the bike listed on there website,so that should'nt be a problem. Yep my clutch drags aswell,something i will look into. This bike is'nt much smaller than my 200 and about 20kgs lighter than the 200,if i can get the engine beefed up,get some stiffer springs on the rear shock's and a stronger chain i'll enter the old girl into afew easy classic twinshock Trials. Im in the FM330 club for sure,that makes 3 of us I hope your Son and Daughter appreciate there Fantic,it really is a very special little bike. Steve.
