i have a sherco 200, which is fitted with a delorto pblh26 carb, what settings should i run on the carb to make my bike more responsive, i have the air screw out 4 turns, will different jeting make a difference, also what other things could i do to the bike to make it more responsive, i already have a fast action throtle on, some one metioned about taking a weight off the flywheel? (whatever this means) thanks colly

i no there is a guide on the sherco site, i know yours is a gg, but they say to soften power, retard timing abit, send it to west coast customs, pimp my ride
-
try advancing the timing maybe, or fiddle with the carb, and sproket sizes
-
did mine on my beta without spliting the engine, just went to local bearing traders and got some for
-
take the engine apart, my gasser ddii this, and it was the woodruf key in the flywheel, whcih affects all the timing, but i didnt loose all my compression.
-
i no the correct amount is 450ml but it's quite a pain to not know how much oil you have in, like on the beta's there was window to view the level, for all i know mine could be well down, with out knowing, so how often do you keep checking yours? it would of been ok, if the limit was the filler on the crank case. but it's not....... thanks colly...........

rite, for the height of you, i would start on a 26, purely beasue on a 20ich you would feel to cramped, i would have a good look, at the new onza t-rex, the one with 3 seat tubes, these ride like a 20 inch but feel bigger, i ride a alibongo, made by planet-x which is also exelent. for a mod (20inch) i would either get the new t-mag coming out soon as the old t-mag had a tendancy to crack, or the onza t-pro 04 or 05.

there is some try-all trials bb's out, but jsut get a fsa platimum if you are wanting an isis or un72 or un73 for suare taper.
-
in my local bike shop theres a 200 in orange, i beleve it was a special edition mellenium model. well thats what some one was advistising one at.
-
yes i think it does, i'll try and give this ago, also it runs perfect once started can this still be the problem
-
hey, my sherco 02 200cc just wont start when it is hot, itl start perfectly when it's cold, but once it's started it takes some what 10 kicks and sometimes starts. its just had the coil, and the whines rewound, and compression seal, and piston rings befor i bought it so i should think compression is ok. the spark seems strong enough aswell. when i took the spark plug out it was oilly, is it worth gettin a new plug in it, also what plug should i get. could it be to do with the carb settings? one last question, on the air box, does it suppose to have a cover on it, and mine is just a filter, with a allen key to hold it in place. thanks colly
-
thanks, got it sorted now
-
ive just got a 200 sherco, and the kill switch wire is loose, but i need to know where the wire connects to, is it to the coil, the diagra on the sherco site is in spanish and i cant understand it, is there any english diagras any where? thanks colly
-
try them in 1 trial do see what they think of it.
-
if it rattles really bad, and look for the leaks in the seals.
-
some on on here, told me that mine was due to the air pilot screw
-
-
also if i get stuck in a section it's wuite hard to pull it out due to the weight of it
-
how heavy is a txt.i have a 98 beta just find it hard to hop so im selling it, i was riding a 05 rev3 and it waas so easy to hop
-
i want a bike for around 1500 i want a reliable and also light bike. i like the gg pros but i heard that the gearbox's are s*it. also i like the sherco but ive heard to many things about the main bearings, also i think the normal txt will be good but maybe a bit to heavy. does any body no the weight of these bikes? thanks.
-

-
sitting on the bike
180 deg up wards = off.
