I can never remember the dates in japan being changed once on fim calendar, im sure it will be that weekend.
-
jordi would struggle to win T2 on his bike and skill set from back then.
Bou and raga move up in ability every year.
-
The " junior" class was introduced to encourage younger riders into wtc, and ditto "youth" class, some ten or so years ago
-
Theres been 3 routes for at least ten years.
-
its overcrowded because of riders like gratterola.
-
he will be in trial 2 again? on a 250?
-
oh in line fuel filter a must.
-
unless you are throwing it away on regular basis i would avoid bar ends, the feel of them on the throttle side is annoying and just lets dirt in anyway/ when washing water and so on.
i know the gas in the usa is different so get someone who knows to set up carb, we always go to a 3 slide.
definately go down one tooth on front sprocket, it makes 1st better in stream sections and means you can leave the clutch alone a bit more and concentrate on riding the thing.
-
yes 1 min 30 seconds but setion length at btc less than wtc. again i hope that someone can take an overview and look at time factor vs, section length and severity and make sure it works as it should.
-
you dont think that Adam and Toni are the best riders ever in tackling the hardest sections ever?
-
automatic timing no whistle, but yes judgement if spindle is out. At world level a few years back i mustve watch hundreds of section attempts but judgement on was it out or not maybe a couple of times.
-
trials bikes are different, if you are riding trials avoid the "taming down a bike scenario" if you can, many have tried it rarely works.
-
Think dibs is still Beta.
-
Absolutely dont hesitate.
I would buy a 250 unless you are a top expert.
All parts are available now and will generate income for ktm so wont be an issue, piston kits are out sourced anyway so youll be fine.
-
I think signal may be a problem with 3 day, possibly s3 too.

It was the simplisity (sp?) of the system and the efficient way it worked that would be ideal for BTC or WTC i was in no way advocating its widespread usage at ACU events.
In clarification its a great system that probably needs a phone signal and would be an excellent alternative to punchcards and would once set up avoid extra work.
Personally i didnt look at the results instantly as i had lost so many marks it was the system that seemed to offer a fair alternative, nothing more. I actually used it to locate a mates location behind me on the lap.
If entries went up a few quid i wouldnt complain and am a supporter of the ACU 100%. It should be noted that i also support a rise in Trial registration fees so the acu can compete with contintental federations possibly in this way and any others we should be.

when there was a change in suspension at gas gas i know the ohlins guy spent a couple of weeks in spain.
-
Sammy's not right here.
Practically it's a non starter, to limit tyres would be impossible now, and I'm not sure there would ever be a consensus to do it.
Stopping is not related to tyre design either.
-
Having ridden in the Costa Brava 2 day trial again this year, a great event, I was very impressed with the results system. Each bike had a "transponder" and score was entered at the end of the section, much the same as punch cards.
This was then sent to central score system.
Instant results!

The lightness will be directly related to the choice made on variable plate on a 2019 as much as anything?
-
