I think the thing to take away is that everyone commenting hasnt had 4 or 5 makes in the last two years to compare and have a very subjective view. 5 years ago i had gaernes, they were great but laterly i had wear issues, now im on styl martins, didnt get on that well with hebo or alpine stars. As above fit and size is everything, try before you buy and ask different riders on different boots, and youll get a different answer.

im thinking with the empty seats more money could be made at a smaller venue?

as much as anything this would put Honda/Montesa at a disadvantage so any change like this would be resisted, and the prestige of honda in the game is something the fim wont jepordise.

It is a honda conspiracy as it is set higher thatn the Gas Gas trs lightweight set up. More importantly from its instigation it has never been properly enforced or monitored. Strange you mention spindles as ti was banned but honda/montesa have continued its use for years.

Total rubbish. There are only a handful of riders who earn decent money, the factories are paying them for a reason? How that spoils anything for club riders im struggling to see the connection.
