Anyone can produce a quality bike, its whether it sells in enough numbers at the right price.

Its hardly supporting your dealer by buying the basics then the good stuff try and save a few bob, don't see the difference really. Lets see what you want to buy and what the prices are in Japan and the uk my guess is a problem with just one thing of bling say a leaky flat tank, would you be able to bable fish a letter of complaint and send it back to japan all ending up cheaper?

DVLA not likely CSE metalwork wouldn't qualify me for that for sure. Just try to see both sides of it really.

I have been wrong before but would have alot more faith in the chance of a Trials fantic if they had made their own enduro. Anyone can buy a "name" but it means nothing just like the Bultaco Sherco which really was a Sherco nothing else. The markets just not there, the exsisting manufacturers are struggling and nostalgia in this case won't finance it I'm sure.

Take the advice of the dealer and start from there, try another bike with a different map incase thats what suits, but unless you have endless time on the bike its much better to stick to one thing and learn to ride the thing.

I don't think Cota was saying $t's are dominant so much as Montesa. I personally think Toni Bou would have won on a Sherco gas Gas Beta or Montesa he is riding that well and dougie and fuji didn't win on it in 06 either. So the top 6 in the junior were 2 stroke as were the top ten in youth, so firsts weren't 4t there at all, so not completedominantion.

Ross unless they change the rules ssignificantly(they can't do that as well?) is a definate second regardless so he could join wiggy on the 125's in Andorra. By my calculations, wiggy needs 6th or higher to gaurentee second in Junior wtc, which means a british one two, also think haslam could have improved to third had the Spa round remaind. Lets hope that someone somewhere in the FIM is p****d off enough to forget belgium for a few years, we'll see.........
