  1. Don't bite perce Lennie is one of a band of "riders" who get nosebleeds if they venture north of watford gap or west of oxford. They also have the strange delusion that riding in and out of a ditch or up a muddy bank is called Trials. Sad but true.
  2. A fair bit closer my one, do you need any help?
  3. For top end apparently the gap for air to go in is not that good. saunders x s are doing a lid which allows better airflow I think
  4. That is the biggest pile of pooh I know and I would guess only about 5% of riders get it
  5. Didn't Alexz have a lap of 4 somewhere?
  6. Stevenage,think its called m sport they had a little ad in TMX 2 numbers 01438 742724 mobile 07711 652215
  7. Sadly not true she is a big fish in a very small sea, any girl with a reasonable amount of aptitude and dedication can get top ten no problem.
  8. There is a new shop opening in your area it may be worthwhile giving the guy a call 01438 742724.
  9. Its an age thing only, once you are eighteen you can ride any cc before that its 125, which is what Oliveras rode after winning youth last year.
  10. No way, that close, I'm off to buy some lottery tickets..........
  11. The bike in America was a standard 125 rather than Alexzs bike a JST Pro Racing. Julian spent a day "fettling" it changing gearing etc. As far as I know Alexz has never ridden a factory Sherco so direct comparisons are difficult.
  12. Do you think Alexz could make a career of riding in the US?
  13. There is little or no chance of success at WTC for the also rans and to travel would not help.Top 4/5 will be Doug Raga bou Caby Fuji hopefully in that order. My guess is that the expenses are not there for the others.
  14. I see where you are coming from Alan but feel from being close to the 125 lads that they have benefitted from progressing step by step surely thats the only way? If Alexz had been on a full bore 300 raga rep at 14 say would he have learnt the complete set of skills to get a bike up a section that it will only just do? or would he have learnt give it a handful and up it goes easy. back to the rules it is ok saying they can choose a 125 but they don't and where are they?
  15. Why you want to make something of it????? No I am agreeing with you, 125 then 250, way to go.
  16. Alexz and Julian have asked me to pass on a big thank you to anyone and everyone who helped Team Wigg this past weeekend at the TTC in America. In particular Dale Malesek and all from Gas Gas USA, who were invaluable in helping Alexz achieve his first ever World Championship victory. Thanks to Brock aswell. It couldn't have happened without you guys! Lets hope we can do it all again next year. Cheers
  17. If alexz and ross and lee spend alot of time on the 125cc machines more power from a 280 will allow a gentle progression to the bigger sections? Surely? 10 ft step on 125 15 ft step on 280 isn't that logic?
  18. So how close to the 80 then? You could do any of the Richmond trials and enjoy them but should consider the Crackpot in the Autumn, my fav after the 3 day.
  19. We always swap the lever perches as you know some times they kick back and a knee in a down facing perch is not nice.
  20. Call robin packham at falcon shocks you need to replace seals aswell I think
  21. By the rules Alexz only has another year on the 125 (2007) so I don't think he will be held back by the rules, he can't ride WTC till 2008 anyway.
  22. Alexz cannot go because of exams.
  23. Thanks spinner nice comments. Perhaps the discussion previuosly about keeping the youngsters on 125 bikes has a bit more meaning now?
