Think the ruling is that you have to pass through the wrong gate for a five so it may be down to interprtation, if it is the case a wheel in a gate would be harsh but I doubt it was marked a 5 anywhere else but in the uk, right or wrong.

You and woody really need to put pen to paper or e mail the ACU they will and do listen. I can understand the desire to get shot of the over 40/50 but that is what kept the classics going when the t/s entries were low. I can remember not too many years ago the series dying on its feet a round up in scarborough and another cancelled.

Actually (I have a good source for this) it was meant to carry on not just a spoiler. It was good IMHO and many others, and was a perfect companion to TMX allowing in depth proper articles which TMX doesn't seem to have the time/resources for. I believe that the basic fact was it couldn't be sustained due to the top management wanting a bigger subscription take up. Ibelieve the figures were 4k plus so be sure to tell TMX when the responses here get to 5k...............

A great shame but the subscription level was not enough to cover the costs. The only way it could be resurected would be for someone to subsidise it, won't happen. Disappointing I know.

Perhaps we could organise a Bradford outing to some of the other rounds and they could see how to do it properly. That is, a slight but definate bias towards the home riders!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you need to get to the ACU Trials forums, and if you cant drop an e mail or letter as they will be considered. Last year I proposed that the novogar have an over 40 class which was done as a try out I guess so suggestions are taaken on board. Think the over 50 at the classic rounds was a result of that forum as well. get your voices heard the forum is the place.

Before you all assume its a done deal lets just see what the implications are, for example how is a privateer to get a bike to guatemala and what would be the cost? How many non usa riders were there at the TTC? My guess is that it will be a manufacturers decisoion, and if they take your bike (no importers?) it will cost thousands!

Saw one at reeth and it loooked very tatty. Not too sure if its lack of stickers or just the look of it with a bit of mud. Difficult to start when I saw it, guess that might be technique though. Motor looks alot bigger than 4rt.
