The british isles is really quite small, probably the size of Georgia so I would suggest you forget "local" events and get up to Yorkshire!

Could be our web man and site owner?

Dougie moved for the money.
Impossible to say for sure didn't he try the rev 3 before he signed mont?
There is very lttle money in trials so bou would have tried the mont before signing for sure, but a 2t works beta worse than a 4rt? Doubt it.
As the trials market is so flat at the moment I doubt if this bike wil sell much at all, who will buy it?
The 4rt was slow to start with and its the 3rd year its been for sale now before there are any great numbers, so surely alot of the four stroke fans have bought already?
8 pages on here means jack s**t as far as sale of a new 4t, surely?

The airboxes may be available soon too, they are expensive to produce. The adjusters are jitsie I think, special back spindle and adjusters there too, oil filler plug, yes jitsie light, all on the world championship bike ridden in every round since july including hawkstone, shoul be at the stoneleigh show if anyone wants a close up!
-
I will be there so be on your best behaviour, youth.

I think that there is a rotation policy operating where those that missed out return, so Richmond and surrey will have rounds in 2008???
-
i've got a reigar which was fitted to my 05.
-
Welsh trophy would be twice as good if someone tried the sections and they were scrubbed a little, and early number is too much of a disadvantage.
-
I did get fed up with this a couple of years back, bootle was a bad offender, in the end I stopped trying to ride no stop and pretty much never can remember having a five because of it, needs changing.
As an aside, why 12 rounds again in 2007 3 morethan any other championship?

you pays your money etc. park nearby

Doogle has a new beta 200 so I doubt it.
The 05 with a mitani clutch is as good as an 06 apparently.
-
Canon powershot's are good, I have had some success with them.
-
Tygon is good, very good.
-
Very Very little difference between 05, 06 and 07, I know for a fact two people that have been tempted by the appeal of the 4rt to buy a new one.
Both opted for the cheap applyard route although both could have afforded (and would have bought) new 07.
-
Coincidence that the 07 is appearing just as appleyards run out of the bargin basement?
Sounds to me like dumping 05's on your own market just as a new model is due will do no good at all, bet they don't sell well.
foot shoot yourself in the

The point of my original post seems to be missed. I spent all the time checking it, which is how all these faults were identified. The point is it, is a brand new bike and you shouldn't have to do it! You wouldn't do it on a car. Or a road bike, or a fridge. When things are new they should work how they are meant to. You shouldn't have to make improvements and modifiactions on the manufacturers design just to use it for what it was intended for.
This is the case with pretty much all makes of trials bike not just one brand. This one hasn't been any worse than any other new ones I have had.
errrrrrrrr change your dealer or specify you want him to ride it in a trial or two to make sure there are no teething problems.
-
-
As there is basically little difference between the 05 06 and 07 havn't Appleyards screwed the 4rt second hand market in one easy move???????????????
Glad I don't want to shift a 4rt.
They must be grey imports surely.....................
-
To be honest there is very little difference between the 3, except they have real cows, oh and the population of somalians here is as large as there?
Back to the original point how would a privateer get a bike out to the Guat trial? If it is so expensive or difficult it can't be fair.
-
Very true I'm sure, but doesn't that go for all makes?
-
Dominic you wanted reasons not to go to Guat try some of these

Pants you need to set youre sights on something better.
What is the stand for?
If its for the workshop then its very different from just holding the bike the side stand is for that.
Is it for removing wheels at a trial or on hard surface??
The bash plate is flat so tippin shpuldn't be a worry, reduce length of base tube it could get in the way.
Dont forget if you take a wheel out it can tip make provision for this.
Sounds like you need to go back to the problem solving stage and sort out clear ideas of what you want it do do not what you want the finished thing to look like?
Suggestion look at all those available first and fault find them to point yuo in the right direction.
Had most stands in my time now have a hydraulic pump up, its taken 30 years to get to it but it is the best available and around
-
Raga uses Iris chains but changes them frequently.
The big advantage of them is the fact that they have so little drag, unless you do big stuff I think they are a distinct advantage.
Hrc has had no problem and he is steady on the throttle.
Not convinced by the wd40 thing, surely duck oil would be better as its more oily?
Boiling a chain now that takes me back, definately the best way.
