I hear Ringo works on his own equipment. His bike has to finish the race, but before that, his truck has to make it to Vegas. Good Luck to Craig and Ringo. I hope their kneecaps are still intact next Monday!

I traveled with my son to CO and MN Nationals and I believe this is the best format for the future. Just 2 Weeks/ Weekends. Do we really need to travel to 4 or 5 different venues to decide an amateur series? Riding 3 days in a row can be a pain, (please don't suggest 4 or 5 days!) but it was still fun. The organising clubs did a great job. Day 3 was just as good as day 1. I felt sorry for some of the checkers on day 3 as you could tell they were ready for the weekend to be over. Trialcross is not Trials. Its a great sport thats fun to watch but nothing I would like to see at our Nationals or Local Events.

This economy is tough.......first Tommi moves back to Finland and then Ringo moves to San Berdo!!!!!!!!! Who's next?

Are you sure thats a kickstarter or could it be the frame tube, looks too far in the rear to be a kickstart lever.

There was a Trial Shop called Bay Area Bultaco in Los Angeles back in the 80's . Bruce and Howard were the owners and were good friends of Bernie. Bruce had an origional "works" Jet and the word was the engine was a Bultaco with the side cases welded and modified to look simular to the soon to arrive Jet. Although I personally never saw the machine, knowing Bruce, he still has it. (unless his wife thru it out.)

A good friend of mine and I arrived in Spain for the Spanish WR in Feb of 1985. We both took delivery of our "Tri trentas" ( what the Spanish called them, aka 330's ) at the factory. After the first practice, we knew we were in trouble as the 330's were far from what we expected. My friend finished the event and I DNF due to a broken shift shaft which I by the way broke 2 more times in the following Bel. and Eng. Rounds. A good looking machine yes but the performance was not with the times..........damm Yamaha TY s.

Junior or 125 for the rest of the season has little to do with his long term career. He started the season on 125, just finish it and finish as high as possible. Top 5 or better is very respectful at any level of WC Trials. And anyone who thinks 2nd place is the first loser, is a LOSER

I've seen Craig ride a Trials Bike and in spite of his riding ability, he can at times offer good advice about the sport. I have to agree with him as technically Pat has only missed one round. As only the best 10 of 12 rides count, he will be well up in the overall results if he is consistant in the final rounds. Uncle Craig Knows Best!!

Give him a break! Trials sucks when your back is sore. I think he made a wise decision for his future.

The Kramit was made in Italy and had some relationship to Kramer. Probably the same company. Why can't the Japanese give names to bikes like the Italians.....the Kramit will always be the #1 name in my book. Mecatecno also had some classic names for some of their minibikes from the 80's. Andy will have to post the names as he controls our free speech......I haven't been posting very long and its too soon to be banned!
