  1. So I forgot about these pictures I took of my buddies Sherco. Now I have to admit they make a pretty bike but I just cant see myself buying one. So as a test of "What would it be good for?" My girlfriend and I found the answer. There is a moral to this story.... Don't let your buddy "Help" you out by bringing the bike to the event early for you. Excuse the detail my camera phone sucks. Can anybody else think of a good use for one of the prettiest machines out there? My second thought was a wind chime. Cheers Biff.
  2. Hey FanticMatze give me a ring if your in town. Tonight looks great out and i may go riding bicycle in down town but were around. My roommate and I are working very late all week. It seems as my company starts looseing money i get more work. I just switched cell companies so call the office because the cell is in limbo this week. 313-317-6316 Chao. Biff
  3. fozza321, I recently sold my gg txt 280 and am going to buy a pro 300 this winter and i am already tricking it out (new handle bars already but havent found the bike I am buying yet). Here in the states my girlfriend and I were in rhode island and bottle run extreem had a booth setup. They had one of the most georgous set of carbon fiber front and rear fenders for the pro. They were like a feather from an angel. They had them listed for $325 american but I have been dreaming about ordering that plastic since i saw them. I turned to talk to travis fox (american rider) about them and he said that they were extreemly flexible. In the back of my head I was thinking yeah right carbon fiber has a limit much like regular plastic. When I turned to look at my lovely girlfriend I found her with the fender in hand twisting and bending and going to town on the set like an accordian!!!!! WHAT THE H%## are you doing?!?!?!?!?! She had no clue as to what she was doing.... (blondes) hahahahahaha well I looked over the fender thinking that i am buying these things when i dont even own the bike yet and damn if the set didnt show a single witness mark to the horrible event which just took place. I quickly escorted my lovely lady out of the booth as if she were a bull in a china shop. In the back of my head i knew that i would be going back to get that set of fenders.... I first need the bike to put them on. Very very trick and i can not find out who made them. Any body have a clue as to who makes carbon fiber (true carbon fiber) gasgas fenders? Do they make them for other brands sucko, montrouble, scrapa, betaoffbuyingagasgas? <just a joke I respect them all.... www.bottlerunxtreme.com Here in Pennsylvania US. --Biff

  6. start towing with a miata mx5.... sure the sleeping arangements arent the best but 23mpg doing 70 mph isnt that bad these days.... --Biff
  7. I had a pinky ty250 at the time the aprilia was out and i loved that bike. simple powerfull good front disc. great turning and ballance.... Nice vid steve!
  8. The Climber was the bike of its time here in the states. Disc brake and pretty light weight compared to the competition (ty, beta, fantic) were its strong points. What i remember riding them is they had a lot of rake and didnt turn in as sharp as my ty350. If you looking to put around or looking for a good woods bike go for it! If your looking to move up in the trials world try for a bike after the 2000 model year. If your looking to ride a trials every once in a while this would be a good bike. parts such as brakes and hydraulics are pretty avialable. www.tryalsshop.com here in the states has parts avialable here in the states. Have fun --biff
  9. In sectoin 7 waldos section my cape got hung up in the controls. luckly i was on top of a log.... Its the first time i have ever heard of having to dis-robe in a section. Dang this trials should have been a seperate topic.... --Biff. Ps i sold the gasgas at the trials... i feel all naked now.
  10. Mitchell has some chick to see saturday night so comming the day before is pretty much out of the picture for me. Hey were bringing tons of fire wood and beer because it sounds like nasty weather. I am trying to convince mitchell to bring the canopy but he is crying about setting it up. Fanticmatze; we only get at max about 5 to 6 inches at a time but it will not keep us from riding... You have my info. Sam; I am there! 29r: are you guys going to kill the experts like last time? I am trying to sell the gasgas and my pretty new bushings and plastic may make me ride advance.... booo. --Biff

  12. It states: "Gifts to the gods of ballance, Skill, Hop, Floater, Cleans, Splater, Jap Zap, Blip, Double Blip, Mud, Rock, and Log." Taken from the worlds fastest indian shelf. It is comprised of various broken stuff. I have been making a lot of broken stuff this year. --Biff

  14. I ride in the detroit metro area about 3 times a week. I will be riding trials bicycle in down town tonight. And pretty much every night this week to get ready for our event this weekend. I live in dearborn. Presently the gasgas is torn down in the garage to get cleaned up and new bushings. Come on over and hang out any time... Give me a ring if your around! 269-599-2449 I will introduce you to river rouge our secret hidden treasure about 15 mins away from troy. Welcome to the D. --Biff Oh further note.... I am also another auto engineer..... If you want to hitch a ride to this weekends event I am sure we can find you a spot.... I would have killed for an opprotunity to rock it out with spinal tap.... Awesome flick! --Biff
  15. Brian fixed the issue. I had emailed him before posting this complaint. Brian responded and now the trophy is fixed. In the future i will keep these issues to myself... NATC did a great job this year and I want to thank any reps who read this... --Biff
  16. Last year I decided to go for a complete season no matter what it took. I rode the 2 ok I rode Tennesse and I rode the RI events. Ok riding is a figurtive term. I crashed a lot but finished. I was quite disapointed to find a national trophy on my door step totally wrong. Wrong place finishes and has me riding only one out of the two OK events. Any body else feeling my pain or was it a fluke? I already emailed Brian Behling about it. I am trying not to let this discourage me from doing the same next year. --Biff
  17. Welcome! Its amazing how fast your body will adjust. Its also amazing how much work you do just trying the basics. Enjoy the site. --Biff

  20. Clearly trying to start a heated debate...... --Biff
  21. some how his bike (an aluminum monty) only suffered a bent front wheel. couple scratches but we could not determine if that was from normal riding or the incident. It was screwed up in that we didnt hear it go. A van honked and told us it happened a mile back. It must have happened about 30 seconds after i closed the sunroof. if I left it open we would have been able to catch it or get sucked out of the roof. hahahaha. Pete needed to fix some things anyways on it so we are giving it a go through. What sucks is that i sorta lost my practice buddy. I sugested that he use pats bike. but he said he would rather use a mountain bike. As far as i see using pats bike may draw him away from sherco.... heaven for bid.... GOOO GASGAS! --Biff
  22. I just purchased a fender and seat for my 2000 in preperation to sell her for a pro. The euro is KILLING ME! 90 bucks for a seat 90 for the fender.... i miss the 60 dollar days... oh well the price i pay to live in the states.... --biff
  23. You have to excuse Jim.... He has been around so long that 1006 seemed like yesterday.... They rode mostly ridgid bikes back then and they had to dab due to the lack of the internal combustion engine at that time... The trick setup was to use wheels on the bike... very very trick and rare for its time.... hahahaha -Biff
  24. Gabby, i have no excuse and i want to applogize to you.... it was a late night and Pete Hatch and i lost his trials bicycle off the roof of my car on I 94 doing 75 mph.... kinda rough... I read the post and was like awww man! Hug right back at cha.... For those not in mota reading the post..... we dont just hand out hugs for no reason.... were not quite like that. We give you logs, tight turns, and obsticals that look impossible. Then we hold self help groups after wards. COME TO MICHIGAN AND HAVE A GREAT TIME! next event BRANDENBURGS ranch MID MICHIGAN! www.motatrails.org -Biff Zippy you take hugs in my absence.
  25. Dvd's like this keep me going all winter long up north here. Sam one question... Does the dvd give the body motions perspective? I have eddie lejunes skills video (i know out dated) but it really didnt give a proper perspective. The camera work was a bit too quick to get the whole picture. Thats where personal training one on one helps. Biff
