Yes, I use them all the time on my daughters Sherco.

    Front Wheel

I used a front wheel from a KTM motocrosser and machined the disk to a smaller diameter and then fitted a Brake caliper from a Kawaski 250 (single pot floater) and a Yamaha master cylinder and it all worked a treat. To mount the caliper I made a template from timber. I made a hole for the axle and then a slot to suit the original guide to stop the brake from spining around the axle. I then shaped the other end to match the mounting plate on the caliper. I then used some 5mm thick plate and cut it to match the template and welded the plate to the original caliper mounting plate. When fitting the wheel I needed to adjust the spokes to recenter the wheel as it was around 5mm off center. I later upgraded the hose to a braided hose from a KX80 as the original would expand under load. Total cost me around the same as a new rim plus assembly.

Because the rule 58.01 state 4 Stroke single cylinder, maximum 4 valves and 1 spark plug and 1 carby not exceeding 34mm diameter. Also some other points 50mm Diameter Constant exhaust pipe. No Brakes allowed.
  4. Had a friend from High School who used to be part of a Unicycle Trick riding team and used to ride one around 8 foot high. Needed to climb onto the roof of the house to get on it. He said the taller bikes are easier to ride than the normal ones.
  5. I would go with the cleaning the tank with Acetone first. Use a Flow Coat Gelcoat as normal Gelcoat will not cure. Put an amount of the Gelcoat into the tank and the roll the tank around to cover the inside. The Fibreglass will allow the passage of liquids so the only thing to stop the fuel from leaking is the Gelcoat. Certain Epoxies will also do the job, just make sure it will not react with the fuel and will stick to the tank interior.
  6. From the start head to the left then flip to face the other way and go flat out around the spiral until the apple comes into view. You then need to stop before you brain yourself and then go back to the start for the flag. Best time 1:01:88 and I am sure there will now be a rash of messages with better times. Beta Rev3

Tips for a happy Marriage. 1. Two times a week, we go to a nice restaurant, have a little beverage, then comes good food and companionship. She goes on Tuesdays, I go on Fridays. 2. We also sleep in separate beds. Hers is in Ontario and mine is in Tucson. 3. I take my wife everywhere, but she keeps finding her way back. 4. I asked my wife where she wanted to go for our anniversary. "Somewhere I haven't been in a long time!" she said. So I suggested the kitchen. 5. We always hold hands. If I let go, she shops. 6. She has an electric blender, electric toaster and electric bread maker. Then she said "There are too many gadgets and no place to sit down!" So I bought her an electric chair. 7. My wife told me the car wasn't running well because there was water in the carburetor. I asked where the car was, she told me "In the Lake." 8. She got a mudpack and looked great for two days. Then the mud fell off. 9. She ran after the garbage truck, yelling "Am I too late for the garbage?" The driver said "No, jump in!" 10. Remember. Marriage is the number one cause of divorce. 11. Statistically, 100% of all divorces start with marriage. 12. I married Miss Right. I just didn't know her first name was Always. 13. I haven't spoken to my wife in 18 months. I don't like to interrupt her. 14. The last fight was my fault. My wife asked "What's on the TV?" And I said "Dust!"

    Beta Rev3

Why Beta's are better than women. Your Beta won't be mad at you if you ride another bike. You can use tie downs on your Beta. Your Beta won't complain if you finish riding quickly. You can have more than one bike. Your can let your friends ride your Beta. You can get home late drunk and your Beta won't complain. Your Beta is happy to sleep in the shed. You can get rid of your old Beta and it wont take the house and car with it. Your Beta will never tell you "You have gone the wrong way." Hope you had a good ride on Monday Stu.

    Bank Clank

What club where you at when you did this?
  10. The 99 Beta is a great bike and will resell easily and at good price when you finally come to part with it.
  11. Didn't say where I ewas going to use it.
  12. This was found in a Gas Gas Airbox recently... A tiny Beta.
  13. Some people have too much time, money or both.
  14. Carbon Fibre Tape is used in the Aircraft industry on places like the leading edge of Helicopter Rotors. I expect this would be quite expensive and would not conform to any compund curve. The sheet from bike shops is thick printed vinyl sheet which when heated can be streched etc to follow the curves and I would expect a lot cheaper.
  15. I think it makes no difference which way a rider dresses, left or right. The poll should be... I'm Left Handed and ride crap. I'm Left Handed and ride ok. I'm Left Handed and ride good. I'm Right Handed and ride crap. I'm Right Handed and ride ok. I'm Right Handed and ride good. This would then show that on average which riders are better.
  16. We where very poor when I was growing up, even my Butler was poor and the Maids, and kitchen staff where all poor too.

English 134 - 50.2% Scottish 39 - 14.6% Spanish 34 - 12.7% French 13 - 4.9% Welsh 9 - 3.4% Japanese 7 - 2.6% Swiss 4 - 1.5% Australian 4 - 1.5% Andorran 4 - 1.5% Irish 3 - 1.1% German 3 - 1.1% American 3 - 1.1% Swedish 2 - 0.7% Austrian 2 - 0.7% Portuguese 1 - 0.4% Norwegian 1 - 0.4% New Zealander 1 - 0.4% Manx 1 - 0.4% Finnish 1 - 0.4% Dutch 1 - 0.4%
  18. Rather than have an overall time limit break it down to say 60 seconds to do a section then 30 seconds to get to the next one. If the rider enters the section prior to start then 5 just as if they too long. Fuji made a tactical decision based on what he needed to do to get into the final. If you are running late at a trial and need to cut and run to finish wouldn't you miss some sections?

    Sections

That's why Honda got Dougie, for Fuji and it worked for him.
  20. JT I noticed your trailer runs very narrow tyres.
