    Ty250z

How about a Chrome Moly framed TYZ with a sidecar. This is ridden by two of our local riders and have who a number of Australian Championships on this including the current title, so the bike may be past it for solo but it is still setting the pace in sidecars. As a point of interest the whole frame including sidecar only weighs around 2 kg more than the solo frame it replaced. it has done around 5 or 6 years of sidecar work and I don't believe it has ever cracked. When you see what these guys ride it is amazing.
  6. Depending on the split you may be able to grind out a small amount of the glass then repack it with milled fibre and resin. This would be neater than glassing over a larger area. Make sure you sand back any area you are going to putting new resin onto as the paint will not hold the new materials. Gelcoat will need to be sanded to allow the new resin to get a chemical bond. On the inside of the tank ensure it is very clean and put some resin over the split area. Remember as resin goes off it generates heat so ensure the tank is as clean as you can get it so you don't have a fire. If there are raw fibres exposed to fluids the fluid will pass along the fibres. Don't buy your products from a hardware store but go to a boat shop or better still a fibreglass trade centre and buy the correct resin etc.
  7. Pay in beer, much cheaper. I got 13,500 for 1 carton of Coopers Pale Ale.
  8. I was looking at Murray Walkers book the other day and read that he rode the SSDT in 1949 and got a first class award. Are the results for previous trials going back many years available. I looked at www.ssdt.org but couldn't find any old, old results.

    The Best Sherco!

You should vote for the one that given the competition of the year, how the bike performed in it's year and lasted for you. Don't vote for 2004 because it is the newest and should be the best. PA :santa1:
