Class- Standard chain length.
- Scalvini exhaust system
Okay anyone know of a retailer?- Need help! 2008 montesa 4rt will not start
Can anyone point me at an "how to" for getting rid of the Bank Angle Sensor please- Why don't they JUST grip?
i find all this really strange coming from an enduro background, the French are renown grass special test specialists mainly because they ride Yam four-strokes having mush better traction in the wet than 2T, indeed it was the perceived wisdom when they were fist reintroduced in the 80's- 4rt oil change
Unrelated but its the start of my 4RT project, i have two to work on a 16 and a 17, Ill practice on one then film the other.- 4rt oil change
This for me was a slight worry, after coming from a 2T 250 EXC where every nut and bolt removal is covered by at least 4 videos i could only find one about the 4RT, the Scottish hydro locked one, now i think as they hardly ever go wrong there just isn't the need for them. I aim to change that though as i will start making them as i learn how to maintain the beast!- Scalvini exhaust system
Anyone know who sells them they look great value.- Tyres ? ?
- Tyres ? ?
What’s everyone using? I have an x11 on the rear which I thought used to be the holy grail, I was at Shatterford on Sunday and a bloke there was saying they are rubbish, no grip! Dunlop’s are the dogs, best grip ever. Was he talking *****? No self respecting rider would touch Dunlop a few years ago!- Show Us Your Montesa!

So the thermostat must be protecting against overheat as well as bringing in the fan.- High Rise Bars

Anyone know this highest rise trials fat bars, not Apico though. I have S3 World and my brother has Buffalo but to be honest there is little difference. Will Renthal or Tommi be any higher?- Show Us Your Montesa!

- O/X Ring or standard chain?
We will be riding Wern Ddu and Cowmn and Shatterford but aim to continue to do our usual excellent green-lanes we have around here when we get the in-fill seats so i think the X-Ring is a goer. Anyone know if the VMAR chain block is available in UK? I may well get a new S3 one and file it out to suit if not. Thanks all for the reply's and sharing the knowledge.- O/X Ring or standard chain?
As above whats the thoughts for the 260? Jjust come out of a few years in Enduro and the DiD X Ring is a faultless chain, as good as it gets IMHO. Requires very little maintenance and with the two split links as supplied by Endurotyres it will last at least a year with little noticeable wear or stretch.- Helmet fit?
JMHO, i had the Hebo before and found it very tight width wise, i'm a 58, i now have an Airoh MX and trails helmet and they both fit as near to perfect as i could ask and they fit about the same on my forehead when looking in a mirror but feel entirely different, as with most things try before you buy.- Bit the bullet
Thanks great advice, will the slightly longer wheelbase have any tangible effect?- Bit the bullet
Thanks for that a great help, i see what you mean it looks as if it needs to swing out more to miss the axle nut.- Bit the bullet
Thanks for all the reply’s..... Maybe someone can help with this then, just picked up our kids 260 and it’s got this stand on it, anyone any idea what/where from?- Bit the bullet
Ok so finally but the bullet and put a deposit on a 260 this morning. Been riding a 250T EXC for the last 3 years, mainly greenlaning and a Gasser TXT Pro before that. Want to carry on with the greenlaning so they are registering it for me, may do some local trials but intend to carry on using Wern Ddu as much as possible, but will be getting the taller seat and number plate fuel tank for a starter. So what else do I need to look out for and need to add? I’m not averse to a bit of bling and after reading just about the whole forum think i will get a better sump guard for a start. Over to you...- 4RT rear mudguard sticker
Graphics are not that hard even on compound curves, have to disagree with the above, I never use water and always use lots of heat, just done this for our kid to sell, don’t be afraid to lift and lift again if your not happy - Bike 2.5 yrs with very little use...so what maintenance?
