40 points up for grabs at the last 2 rounds in Switzerland, Fuji is on 250 after this weekend Doug is on 226 and Raga on 222.
A fellow told me without doubt no one was practicing harder or spending more time on the bike than Fuji this season, and if he wasn't on his bike he was down the Gym working on keeping in top shape, looking at the results from the season this looks true to form and the man who wanted it the most went out and earned it.
The last two rounds will come down who will be second, Doug has a four point advantage over Raga, but to hold on to second place needs to beat him at least one of the days Fuji just needs to go quietly round and finish safely to be champion so the finale battle will come down to 2nd and 3rd, and again who wants it most.

Blistering 2nd lap puts Fuji on top again Raga 2nd Lampkin third.

From what I gather, the NATC are pleased with the fact that any rider can ride any capacity of machine in any given class they are allowed to ride in.
But this doesn't stop a group of riders saying lets use the support class or expert support class has a base to run a 125 championship, all thats needed is the riders and the machines.
This could be done for a twin-shock class or 4 stroke, all you need is the group to agree on what they will ride for the season, and all cough up a bit for a nice trophy at the end of the year.

Reading the Mont 4T story on the front page of TODO trial, I see it says all the Mont riders will be riding the 4=stroke next year ? if fact! this will mean three of the top 5 men in the world will be on four bangers and it it quite possible the bike could be world champion in it's first year.
-
I think you hit the nail on the head there Marky, I don't know why some think it's the end of the world if others don't ride the same bike they do.
Has I see it with the exception of Montesa, all will be able to buy a 05 two stroke model of their choice next year, and those who want a four stroke machine will have a few options, something we haven't had in while.
I think Marky is his own man and spends his own money on what he likes, not like some who just buy to fit in with the so called cool guys.
I rode a little Scorpa four banger the past few weeks and it's a lot of fun, will it do all my 290 Sherco will do, no!! but I'm only in this for the fun not the high income some of the other posters get for riding their two strokes.
It is amazing how many people have come up to me at the past few trials wanting to test ride the little four-stroke, my only complaint would be it is a bit under powered for a few of the sections I rode, but that would be probably the case on any 125 in the same sections, and with a 250 Scorpa 260 Mont and a 320 Sherco in the works I don't think it will be a problem for those who want more power.

Keep in mind, it's against the rules to cut/sype em, not much point practicing with them then getting excluded.

Hey trialscot!! BDMC mark all thier trials out for Doug Lampkin, and he doesn't even go

Start by cleaning the carb, it sounds like a bit of dirt is restricting the pilot jet

Al, this is the same age and weight as my kid, the size and weight of Trevor on the sherco 50, is about equal. He is confident riding sticking his leg out when he's on top of a little log or climb, he must of seen it done and thinks it's cool.
His mate has a bigger bike and Trevor is asking me for a bigger one, NO way is he getting more than 50% of the potential of his little Sherco, I think another year on this before he is too big or the bike can't take it.
I can't see putting them on a bike that is close to twice thier weight doing much for them.

If your daughter is riding the pizza bike well, get her another and stick the 80 jug and piston in the pizza bike for the lad, saying a 80 can be changed up to a 125 full size bike when the rider is bigger is a waste of $.
The beta 50 and 80's are nice little bikes but they need to put more flywheel on the little motors, too much on the top end to get anything out of them.
The Sherco 50 needs the wheels of the Beta 50, anybody tried to see if they would fit ?
-
I have been told that when people take off the wiring harness, they don't connect the wires correctly, and this has been known to overload the system, best cure for this is! if you don't know what the wires are for, let someone who does do the job.
All electrical wiring systems work on the smoke theory, once you let the smoke out, they no longer work.

I have done all the mods to mine that are suggested on the www.bjracing.com site.
The clutch mod is a must and the complete kit makes the clutch spot on, but if that's too spendy, go with the lever and cable that makes just about right without the expense of the new plates.
A 1.7 pilot makes starting much easier , I found I then had a flat spot if I wick it on real quick, need to mess with the idle and air screw a bit.
The rear pipe mod is a must.
I also put the CR5HSA plug in.
The little bike is running/riding very well and is a lot of fun to ride, I'm not going to bother with the bigger CC kit.
I think it's a perfect entry level bike, but needs to be priced lower if they want to get more entry level riders on them.
It does show that the next generation of four strokes will be up to the job and I have my claim in with RYP for a Sherco 4T as soon poss, rumor has it that the bike will make it's appearance at the Swiss world round 4th of Sept.

It was the full monty, ower the bars and bike slap you into the dirt job.
Shame no one got proof
The lad putting on the event had a double log suspended a few foot off the ground with a downhill approach and a sweet selection of sharp rocks to land on, Raga, would have just popped up on to the first log hopping on the back wheel, quick blip ower to the next log without dropping the front end at all, then another blip down to the ground, it didn't quite happen like that for me!! in fact I don't remember very much at all, except this back wheel coming over my head.
The lad putting on the trial altered the section after a few had AOT'd it, now it was reduced to one log with a stone behind it to put your front wheel on, shame the stone was more than a front wheel away from the log, and no **** here we go again ower the bars, the foot peg tattoo cold branded into my back should be healed by may next year
Now I appreciate the work that goes into these event and will always thank the C off C for their hard work, but I would like to make one small suggestion for fun club events, if it looks like it will be really painful if the rider gets the section wrong, then trust me it is

When you lads get it sorted, finding the best bike in the universe that is, could thi let me know, my buggers should be worn out from riding them by then

I just see the FIM have done a major overhaul to thier web site,
vast improvement over the old one and a lot easier to use, not waiting 1/2 an hour for the thing to load.

Sounds like it isn't circulating, check the water pump gear, isnt spinning on the shaft, the running on can be caused by it running too hot, same problem causeing both symptoms.
