Well they looked all like this one back in the day,85 they changed to S(steel Tank) and R model. The first 2 years the looked all liken yours. It was the bike to have back in the day.We here in europe had only 250's what a lot of people say where the better one's.I know that when Johnny Anderson(Sweden)had to ride for Yamaha in America, after a few rounds they shipped his 250 over. The best engine was a 270 coversion from John Shirt.

Yeah absolutly agree with old trials fanatic, why no more natural sections. We rode the Manx Classic 2 day 2 weeks ago,all propper natural sections.Bike looks fantastic.
  19. Bob, when it was mine it was a 200,Heinz Franken put in a 180cc Army engine.Absolutly no clue what engine is now in.No sorry no email from that guy, just the mobile number. He i s a bit old fashion. He speaks english. So it is worth to try and give hime a ring if he still owes the bike.
  20. Bob, if he has it still for sale it is a complete bike.Back in the Day it was mine, got it from Oliver Barjon ,restored it,sold it to Heinz Franken and he sold it to Martin Dams.
