  1. Nice rak, and to secure your bike from dust, dirt and water you need a nice cover:
  2. Charlie this one is a early model with the iron barrel, the ones with the big finn alloy barrel came later.Iron barrel is 5 speed the alloy barrel is 5 and 6 speed.

  4. Well pro sport, this year we had araund minus 12 degrees celcius and it was bloody cold, but next year easter will be late April,so the chance to chill outside in cafes and bars is there. And do not forget the famous belgium chips and the over 300 beers. My favourites are Leffe brun and Hoogarden Rose.
  5. Yeah Aywaille is the one on the continent.Arrive on good friday, sign on in the afternoon, ride the trial on saturday and easter monday and then go home or spent another day on easter monday.Aywaille is near Spa Francochamps. For me from germany it is only 190 Kilometers,so a good 2 hours drive.
  6. I think it is o.k. for Michel.
  7. Here are the first pics: https://picasaweb.google.com/debumike/TrialDeGenk1iere?authkey=Gv1sRgCLCA8qLg_qDQSA&feat=email#5950207014985602018
  8. Guys, good to know with the restaurant,my mate Ralph and me had sandwiches with us,but after a cold, wet and muddy day some hot food would be perfect.Anyway we all enjoyed the trial.
  9. As Guys said a nice day out.Only thing i was missing was some hot food. Was nice to see some faces behind the forum names. Now we have to clean all the muddy stuff. Mike
  10. So,i will hit the road in 30 minutes, see you later. It is cold but dry in the moment.See you later. Mike
  11. @guys, no i will bring the Ty 250. @Ross, thanks mate, keep fingers crossed that it stays dry.Forecast for the weekend is not good, rain and snow.
  12. will be there, see you on sunday. Mike
  13. Try to get in contact with Mr.Stefan Conrads from "Conrads Lacke"in Wuppertal. He invented a super sealing for the petroltanks. If you seal your fiberglass or gfk tank with that stuff no more problems with that modern petrol.Give him a ring. You have to google the adress. Mike
  14. John, well that barrell your engine has mounted is the "Iron Barrel".It is perfect for trials and the engine got good botten end power. It is the same barrell the army bikes over here(west germany)used.Easily to find.Normaly that engine is bulletproofed.Good to hear that a joung lad enjoyes the classic bikes. Cheers:Mike
  15. John, easiest way ist to remove the complete clutch cover and drain the oil.If you need clutch paltes they are all the same from 50ccm(5 speed)-180ccm.Run the engine on 25:1.If you need any parts or any help let me know.I'am in the Hercules/Sachs Owners Club and have myself a few Hercules bikes with sachs engienes. One other advice is the igniton. If you have ridden in streams or cleaned the bike after a trial.Remove the mag cover, dry the flywhell and the complete system with high prssure air and put a bit WD 40 on and it will least a long time. Cheers:Mike
  16. John, do not touch the other bolt. This bolt is for the Kickstaartspring,if you remove that bolt you have to disamble the complete engie to get the Kickstartspring sortet again.Open the Clutchcase and mor gearboxoil will drain out. This engine gets 650cc gearboxoil. You can use atf or any 80 gearboxoil. Cheers:Mike
  17. Would say all boots are waterresistant either than proofed.
  18. Yeah Andy,John is the man you have talk to.

    The Magicals?

Craig was last weekend in Hergenroth at the Trial.Did you spoke with him Guys?He was riding his trick SWM.
  20. Yes they would be o.k. for trailriding or on streetscramblers and not for competition. The compound is very hard.Best tyres for classicbikes (road)in 18/19/21 is the Bridgestone Bt 45,use it on Duc 750Gt-900SS-Scrambler 250 and Yamaha XJ 550.
  21. Both are crap Heidenau and Mitas,it is waisted money. The Pirelli is far better then this east crap.I would go for IRC.Pirelli is good in snow and sand.
  22. As Guys said,it was a fantastic weekend with 159 riders entered in the event. My mate from South Africa realy enjoyed it.Good to hear that you also enjoyed it Guys.I had my Ducati out in the pre 65 class and was very pleased with it.The fire brigade did a cool job to give us a shower while we are riding through theier waterwall. We had competitors from Austria,Holland,Belgium,Poland,U.K.,France and South Africa.
