  5. Anyone booking ferries for the British youth championship trials on Oct 15/16 with vans over 5.5m. should book in advance using account number CIWMO1, making sure that you tell Red Funnel that your vehicle is a ( MOTORHOME ) and not a van. Vans over 5.5m are classed as comercial and have VAT added.

The last plug in my sons Rev 80 lasted nine months, get the carb set up right, change the plug cap to the blue ones, check the kill button is'nt earthing out, ( run the bike in the dark and look for sparks jumping around). If all this fails speak to Gary at JLI,( but don,t blame him)
  12. Regs for the last round of the British youth trials championship have been sent to T&MXN and will soon be in. Included in the regs are details about the special ferry rates via Red Funnel Ferries. Alan Gosden is now the main orgainiser of events at Shorwell, any inquires contact him on 01983865495. I am mainly working on the British indoor youth trial on the Saturday night, and have today had a meeting with the owner of Brickfields arena who will be organising extra seating for the event. He has also given us permision to have a big PA system set up in the arena with a DJ banging out the tunes. We also hope to have a light show going on so its looking more and more like a Sheffield type of indoor trials show. Any inquires regarding this event or if you need regs for the A/B C/D rounds please contact me on 01983522443 day or 01983528115 evenings or Email me at Alnstay@aol.com

  14. Well done to the E South Wales boys, and a big up for Jake & Chris for coming 2 & 3 in C class on 80cc bikes See you all again at Y.M.S.A. 3 day
  15. I learnt that it's not wise to put the portaloo,s near a tent full of trials central p*** heads , Co's it makes having a crap a danger's thing.
  16. So if the riders met on saturday evening & and the sections were changed at Hawkstone, how come this did,nt happen at the French round
  17. Thats excellent news, as Jack is definitly in the indoor trial.
  18. Will, you little sh*t, when we get to Hawkstone I'm go'na nail your ball's to your camper
  19. And i heard that a very talented young rider from the IOW is throwing it all away by sitting on his ass all day, and playing on his computer too much
  20. Thank goodness for people like John collins, a man who seems to care, and trys to be constructive, three cheers I think our main problem is the fact that we love the sport, we are trials riders who want the best for our own kids, and indeed all the other British youth riders who compete in both national and international events. We want to put on the best youth trials weekend of the year, and indeed the best indoor youth trial, and thats why we are spending so much time and effort trying to put it all together, co's we love the sport. We do what we do best, TRIALS. we need publicity for this type of event but we don,t realy know how, we just do the best we can. When you support all the championship rounds far and wide as we do, you become part of a big youth trials family that has many characters. all over the country. So when its our turn to have a party in October, and you hear that so of that family can't be bother to turn up, it's a bit disapointing to sat the least. On another subject John collins raised, i think that the A.C.U. should at least pay for someone like himself to attend all European trials to represent the British riders interest. Someone to turn to if thay are unsure about anythink, like a British team manager. Also i think the age of the ACU academy should be lowered, by the time our lads are 16/17 thay know were there going, training should start at the first year in youth B,point the younger lads like Jack sheppard, Sadler, Morphet, & Keelan Hancock in the wright direction, and maybe one day the worlds top ten will be full of Brits instead of the Spainish. P.S. Should'nt the more interesting subjects stay on the front page longer, instead of things about want colour handlebars should i use etc.
  21. So unless we get a early round in the championship next year we tell the A.C.U. no thanks, because that reflects the same attitued as some of the top riders OK Brickfields arena had to be booked last year for this indoor trial and that will have to be paid for. as will Barry Robinson's expences. If this trial is'nt important to the top riders we may as well save everyones time and money and scrap it now
  22. I can't see why evryone is worried about (funding ), It's going to cost about
