would like to see him at the indoor youth trial on Oct 14, any chance?
  3. Forgot to say that the ferries are now priced like air lines different price's for different times of the day & week. The most expensive time to travel is between 9am & 5pm on a Monday & Friday, and the cheepest time is after 8pm. So if you try differnet times you can get a better deal. As for coming to the Island in May, dont forget that we have the excellent Wight Two Day trial on May 6/7th, one not to be missed for all those who did'nt get in the Scottish, and a A route that could suit the likes of Mr Wigg.etc. So if you liked last years A/B & C/D rounds you will love the 2 day.
  4. Any chance of getting some of these top lads over for the indoor youth trial on Oct 14?. There are four rides left at the moment
  5. Anyone traveling to the IOW for round one of the ladies British championships can obtain a discount from Red Funnel Ferries by phoneing 0870 444 8898. Just ask for the IOW motorcycle club rates for this event or account number C1WMO1. Anyone with a van over 5.5 meters should book it as a motorhome or you may be charged comercial rates. You can get more information at www.redfunnel.co.uk/iowmcc/ you may be asked to show your ACU card when you collect your tickets. Youth A&b

Heard Josh stephens from the IOW had a good day anyone know how he did !
  10. The problem is the fact that there is so much on, that you can't afford to go to events that have no real status or reputation. With 8 British championship events, 6 Y.M.S.A. trials plus thier three day. The inter centre team trial, 3 european trials, and with all the local championships etc etc, the miles, time, and money all add up. Good trials will see good entries as the word spreads, and a good report in T&MXN always helps. Before we ran our first youth national we did about 12 months planing, talked to people asking their views etc, if the trial is right people will come.
  11. Now Challoner beat wiggy at the Cobb & Jagger , but Richardson beat Challoner at the recent Richmond trial , so i think that if young Jonathan was riding A class he would beat all of them . Pick the lumps out of that one.
  12. So who will be at the top at the end of the day.. It could look like this A 125 Wiggy, Danby, Challoner. A 250 Crellin B 125 Richardson
  13. Top 4 all Beta's JL will be pleased
  14. As i said before, the arena is being rebuilt and i understand a new PA system and lighting will be installed
  15. Have tonight booked Brickfields arena for Saturday Oct 14 2006, which means that the British indoor youth trial 2006 in back on. Brickfelds 06 will be bigger than 05, we have learnt from the past. It will be the end of season bash that everyone will want to be part of, the youths answer to Sheffield, so put it in your diary, Brickfields 06, we will rock you.
  16. If you go to Alexz Wigg's web site he has loads of excellent pictures of this event
  17. Forgot to say that AG IOW is in fact Andrea Gomez, moved hear from Spain in about 1982. Love's dressing up as a man at weekends and pretending to be Toni Bou on her Beta. Never met her myself, but those who have say she love's a good time especialy on a Sunday.
  18. Any relation to the Bullock's who ride in the British youth trials championships?
  19. Should have the Red Funnel ferry discount sorted this week, will post details as soon as i get them.
  20. Just got back from the Otter vale trial, 160 riders. Last riders finished at around 5.55pm in the dark How many at the Cobb & Jagger?
  21. I thought trials central could have done a bit about the ACU awards last week, most of the top youth riders in the UK were there, lots of photos taken but none on trials central yet!
  22. I keep a close eye on the youth trials scene, and while Alexz & Ross Danby are the main men at this moment, i think they need to take a close look over their shoulder because Jack Challoner, & Mr Richardson an't doing a lot wrong at this time. It will be interesting if they all ride the Cobb & Jagger this weekend. Respect to them all
  23. The indoor arena at brickfields is being extended this year so there will be more room for bigger sections than last year if it all comes off. Spoke to Alexz Last Saturday who said last years indoor was one of the highlights of the year which was nice. More planning going into this years event, will be more of a team effort than a one man show ( i could'nt go through all that again ) but for my part it would be great if Alfredo or any other international stars could come over. Don't forget thay can ride in the day as well if thay get permission from their federations. We now have a Gas Gas, Beta, & Sherco dealer on the Island and i'am sure we could sort out a bike for any international riders. Keep your thoughts coming.
