Tennessee Nationals This Weekend
Are you going to be there? Looks like perfect riding weather! Highs in the 60's.

'05 Montesa
2 stroke vs. 4 stroke. Can't we just compromise and ride 3 strokes? It will happen soon enough and it will be so great we'll all wonder why it didn't happen sooner!

Honda Tl125
You'll have to check the numbers on the frame and the motor. (looks a lot like my TL) I think that in 73 and maybe 74 the frames were silver. The later ones were black. Since your bike has been painted you can't go by the paint. The frame was probably painted too.

Got the bike, now we have to get it here. It's in Glen Morris near Bradford.

In Tennessee it's about $1.65 for the cheap stuff $1.85 for the good stuff. I was in Ky last week and it was a little cheaper there. About $1.59 for the cheap gas.

Thanks Bob, just waiting to see how high it goes at this point. Hensley, were are you located? I think you told me but I forgot.

From Toronto To Tn
I'm looking at a parts bike for my son. Problem is it's near Toronto. Is there any one coming to Tn for the Nationals that would be willing to bring it. Let me know a price so that I can decide whether it will be worth while. Thanks, Brian

What Year Ty250?
Here's another sight that I believe Ishy has put up here a few times to help identify bikes. http://www.ataq.qc.ca/musee.htm

Yeah, I did something very similar. I took a small brass screw and screwed it into the coil were the wire was coming out. I then soldered a new coil wire to the screw. I put silicone around the screw/wire and put a peice of hose over the whole thing. I then put silicone on the outside of the hose to help keep it in place. I think I might want to use a silicone that's stiff over that area though to keep it from bending at the joint and breaking.

Probably a diesel, killing all of Charlies trees!

Mecatecno Amigo 80 Parts
Yep, I got the last fender Mike Komer had in stock, and replaced the front with as Acerbis one from Chaparrel. Hard to find a mid sized bike with disc brakes and monoshock for the price. What are you asking for yours and where are you located?

I bet little Charlie 2 uses more than 1 finger on his brake anyhow. Am I right big Charlie 1?

Mecatecno Amigo 80 Parts
It's not really a spare, it's my son's bike. We want $700.00 for it. It's a good little bike, it's just time to move up to a full sized Rookie or Beta.

Gas War
We don't realise how good we have it here, still most of the cost of gas goes to taxes. BTW, my F-150 gets about 20 mpg and our Explorer got 27 when it was closer to new. Some of the new cars and trucks are getting horrible milage. As far as not going to Exxon or Mobil, I haven't been to one of those in years, so that should be easy enough. Most staions here ar BP or Amocco. Owned by our British friends. So why's the gas so high there?

Hows The 4/stroke 125's Going?
If the clutch is a little heavy and quick to engage, try the MSR Raptor clutch lever and perch. Chaparral has them at a really good price but I can't seem to get there website to work. I have one on my TL and one on my son's Amigo. They have a choice of hard pull (quick engagment) , standard pull and easy pull (300%) easier. I think they work great, you don't have to modify the clutch arm and is simple to reverse. http://www.powersportsnetwork.com/accessor...sories65449.htm

Tl 125
Interesting little bike. It looks to me as if the shocks top mount has been moved and the jug looks larger than a 125. Am I imagining it? BTW, coil wire doesn't screw out and Honda has new ones for $65.00. Anyone know of an after market co or an OEM one that would have one that the wire could be replaced in?
