Looks like new triple trees, forks and wheels too!
Anything left of the TL?
-
Could you wonderful informative people give us lousy ignorant ones some history on the Seeley?
Could a person get one? Parts? What's differant?
I can see that the frame and the seat/tank unit are unique, what else?
-
Everyone is going to have one, right?
When does it look like we will be able to see one?
-
Do you need to adjust the preload or are you just playing?
I decided to play with my damping a while back and it cost me $350.00
for a new shock!
If you need to adjust it, I would suggest spraying the nut with a penetrating oil
and letting it sit for a day or so. When you do try to turn the nut, back it off a little first so that your not fighting the resistance of the thread and of the spring. Once it's loose you may be able to adjust it. You may want to take the shock completely off and then take the spring out to inspect the threads too.
Don't force anything.

Gavin, is the problem fixed now? Was it the carb?
We are talking about just taking the case off, right, not splitting the cases?
-
I think Gavin spelled it wrong.
I believe he meant to write that he's never Oh petted the engine.
Do they even HAVE a school near there?

Well, we rode some on Saturday and he still has no problem with spinning the tire. Most of that problem comes from the tires and throttle control though. It was a bit slippery on the notorious TTC loop, in fact it snowed all day. I think it was an improvement and I'm waiting to see how it works in the dry. Hopefully some time soon he will move to a full sized bike and I think that the lack of traction will go away. I also got a tip to go to only 2lbs. of air in both tires instead of the 4 in rear and 5 in front that I like to use. All in all I think it was an improvement and it's easily reversed back to the way it was.

Bigfoot, take a look at the tech articles on our web site to see if these are the ones your looking for.

Charlie, I figured you'd use grips like this on the Sherco.
-
Well, it's done. 3.2 lbs. Seems to have slowed the reving quite a bit. Jordan hasn't riden it yet to see what the results are. I'll get back to everyone on how it works for him.
-
I like the Med. Renthals too. The Dominos look spongy but I haven't touched them, only seen them in the picture. If they are spongy I don't think I'd like them. Look nice though. I wish they all came open ended with little plastic bar ends.

Keep you eye on e bay. Theo (the ole lady) ,oops, I mean Princess, bought me a pair of new Hebo Technicals for $100.00. Guy thought they were MX boots. When you do your search, look for Hebo or Gaerne or what ever specific brand you want. Just don't buy the stuff I'm bidding on!
-
Any one tried the new Domino's yet?
-
Nice job. I liked the kids being involved. This showed more of what trials is really like.
-
-
Jimmy, even Metzger rides a trials bike. He looks almost human in the Balancing Act video.( At least when he's on his Gas Gas).
Jeff, I saw you bleeding at TTC, I thought it looked red. lol
-
You buy it and we'll keep it around for you.

Looking for a cheap pair of trials shocks. The cheapest I found are $115.00
from Speed and Sport. Any one found any cheaper? This is for a bike that will be for sale soon. For a keeper I'd get the Falcons.
-
I still don't get the "only real sandpaper" signature
-
I think they need to bring back Glens show. I could just see SRV standing up in the crowd and saying "Hi, I'm Glen Campbell"!
BTW, shouldn't you be in class?
-
SWM Jumbo on e bay, another on parts.
-
Are you done with the sheetrock yet?
-
David, look under the General Trials section.
-
Just to bring this back up to the top.
