My Son's gone "On&Off" as the patterns are different and he was fed up of his Tech 07 Hebo. Looks very different on Him!

Addingham Moorside is cheapest just between Addingham and Silsden. Farmer comes along to collect money, closer to you Is BUMPY. Costs about a tenner to join and a fiver for the day. The area has some good trials terrain but it is limited and you have to watch out for the quads and enduros they hire out. http://bumpy.org.uk/

As an aside the reason I run 98 RON in my son's trials bike is because they is a sticker on the frame stating that the bike is designed to run on 98 RON fuel. (Sherco 125).

In the UK the Main Petrol available is 95 RON also available are BP Ultimate And Esso at 97 RON, Shell Optimax and Q8 98 RON and Leaded fuel sold by Bayford. This is because there is a clause in the fuel act that states Leaded 100 RON must be sold up to a percentage of unleaded fuel. The web site is www.leadedpetrol.co.uk. The only reason NOT to use leaded petrol is if the vehicle you are using has a Catalytic converter. The lead coats the metal inside, (platinum) so stops it working. Trials bikes don't have cats as the oil mix stops them working.

System already exists. Richmond and ourselves use a system running on Acer Laptops with Mega batteries as not to drain car systems.

Martin and Dan Clark Have a trials display team that takes up most of their weekends. When I last saw Neil he was saying they had switched to Gas Gas (probably from Cobb & Jagger). I also remember that when Martin last came on the site to explain the situation he said that they were still supplying clothing and boots.(Can't remember whose tho!).

That is what he is doing! Came back this week for the SSDT and comes back to ride for JLI in major UK trials but those are on the JLI bike not the TTT one!

The TTT Bike is very different to the JLI bike so you'll only see the differences on World rounds. The TTT bike is an "original" REV3 chassis but everything else has been updated or changed. His dad is very impressed with it and the team.

Don't know if camping allowed on the site but plenty of places close by. There are two Caravan sites visible from The venue itself.

The Venue is an escarpment. From the gate straight in front the track continues straight up the escarpment, Not a section to be taken lightly(used in nationals mainly). To the left side of that track is a rock field. As you get closed to the slope the bigger they get. They are still good for practising as you can put together a section with a couple of challenging rocks or go for the rock to rock leaps. To the right of the track is a flat area with some good 3 to 5 foot rocks to get up. Some are sloped/peaked others are flat on top. Behind them is a rock field with a mix of big and small rocks up to the slope. The slope from that middle section described get progressvely shallower. Some good climbs and big rocks down this end. The "car Park" area is where a rough road turns right to the flat area and left to the better car park on a muddy day. The grass holds the mud together and it is longer allowing more cars to park. Just watch out for the rocks jutting out. There are a few rocks here used for warming up and there is a flattish area between the left road fork and the rock field. The area from here to the left is much bigger and has some large rocks in groups providing some very good practice. If you go right over to the wall and look up to the escarpment there are groups of these rocks going up to the slope and along the bottom. There is also a "cut" in the escarpment just above and to the left of the Car parking area. This is used both up and down hill during trials. Hope That helps and just as a guide Yeadon Guiseley got 10 sections in for a Beginners Trial without going into the left side of the Moor which is Much bigger!

The Venue is privately owned and isn't the Protected area. It does have some impressive rocks tho! You get to it via the same signs and it is not available for practice. It has a mix of Wooded sections on a hillside with rocks in it and a Plateau area with big rocks. Small wheels will be running as well as the main course. Hopefully the weather will hold up and it will be usable.

This is NOT A DEFRA Warning! The Trial On the first of may should be at Brimham Rocks. This is subject to weather affecting the Car Parking. If the field used is not in a fit state to allow parking the trial will be moved, probably to Dob Park. Don't think anybody took a camera, I was going to but forgot! Saw Chris(Jim's Helper) next day at the Horsforth Novice and Beginners. He retired becuase of cramp in his arms. Reckoned it was putting the flags in and pulling them out.
