  1. Too Much the actual length of the cargo bed is 74.8 Inches, I suppose you could defalte the tyres that may give you the inch or two required. (Land Rover 110 Hardtop/pickup. Figures from Land Rover Web site). Forget the 130 Dual cab too as that is in the sixties. Remembered where I have seen the Camper top. The Army have them as field ambulances. Time to find your nearest Army Surplus vehicle auction and they'll have beds!
  2. I have seen LR110's with "Camper" style back. It looks like it sits on the standard bed and overhangs the sides a bit. Having said that not seen one lately although I do know where a Range rover 6X6 Camper was hanging around! That should give you the room needed
  3. Hows about a 4X4 Van instead. Check out the Mitsubishi Delicia 4X4 Van, VW Transporter Syncro, Mercedes Sprinter 4x4 and the Transit County.Theres at least one of each on Autotrader at the Moment
  4. Best of Luck Try RPM in Sheffield. We bought one from them two years ago and sold it last year. The guy at RPM's son had one so He may be able to advise you on what you could use. We had a lot of trouble ourselves finding anything.
  5. anybody seen the "Inside Out" piece just on the BBC. They are directing People to the www.bbc.co.uk/insideout web address for viewers to air their views. I'm on My way anybody else???? For what its worth My ramblings are below. Lets see if they are posted. Like the Ramblers on their footpaths, The Motorists using the "unmade" roads are expressing their right to use a legal right of way as it was intended. The Motorists are NOT (As the Ramblers semmingly are intent on), trying to increase the mileage they can use 0r as your article here incorrectly states "roam freely". As for noise A car Or motorcycle has to legally be "Silenced" so that even on The film shown the noise quickly abates. Would they like to ban Helicopters and planes flying over as the noise from those continues to be "Annoying" for some time. As for confining the Motor vehicles to "experiences". Perhaps we should confine the Ramblers to Public parks where they can "experience" rambling on set footpaths. Then they would not cause the sort of damage that shut the footpath in the Peak district that required a large number of Helicopter trips to repair! These rights of way are not only used by Leisure motorists but Cyclists and farmers whose own vehicles also cause damage. Despite the farmers protestations on film the width of the ruts on the track were clearly caused by a vehicle much larger than a 4x4 or Motorcycle. I also take issue with your comment that vehicles have been "banned" from four routes. They clearly are either Bridleways or Marked footpaths and as such Motor vehicles are not allowed on those rights of way. You cannot "ban" something that is not allowed in the first place and that use of language has plainly been used to "sex up" your report. Illegal is illegal and you cannot make something more illegal. I would suggest that anybody who opposes the Ramblers selfish actions visit http://www.muddystuff.co.uk/campaign/default.asp to obtain information or sign the online petition at http://www.saveourbyways.org.uk/ and register their disapproval.

    Sherco 0.8

D'oh. Just re-read this. The Sherco like the Beta REV50 is a "Small" wheeled Manual bike. As such they are designed for "D" class at the moment. Most of the Juniors in YG's small wheels go to the REV50 from the Autos at the moment. It's easier to handle and they compete on the same courses. They tend to be in between the Full size Bike and the TY80/autos. The Sherco can still complete in this class as it is the same size wheels as the REV50. I have only only seen one tho. (And REV80's and GG70/80's compete as well). My Sons old REV50 was sold to a lad doing just that moving from a Beta Auto 50 and according to his dad he has cut his marks total in half and as he has bedded in on the bike is going to win very Soon (Nice ride sunday Ricky). HOWEVER the 80 cc limit for C class is not going to be implemented for a while yet. (This was documented on a thread when we were all on TA Forum). So It does'nt matter at the moment that its 100cc as the current 125 limit will continue for at least two more years. By which time U should be in B class which will be 125cc anyway. I would be wary about C class if He hasn't ridden a manual before. Four have moved up from Small wheels in YG and they are finding the Sections difficult on C class 125's in club trials. In beginners trials you should be okay. P.S. Seen two new Beta 80's with starting problems. Don't know what they are but last years didn't have em.

    Sherco 0.8

Seemingley only leaves the GASGAS or the Beta. I was going to wait for the Sherco last year until I heard the News. Most clubs in this area now just run "Small-Wheels" for bikes under 100cc.
  11. Has anybody got a solution. The best I have heard is to use the rubber draught excluder but our 04 125 has a gap between the rear of the airbox and the lower part of the frame! If this is best where do u apply the excluder. P.S. tried sealent but it keeps coming out!

    Carb Icing

We use Silkolene FST to stop that happening.
  13. Sorry I thought four went thru to the final so why wasn't Jarvis there? Who changed the rules?? (Sorry stupid question its in Spain).
  14. Its my Son who uses it and Practice is making perfect. Obvious problems are that everything is full size and the weight and size of a 12-year old do mean that the grip is in short supply even when running the rear tyre pressure very low. In that respect the "softer" power delivery of the Gas Gas and Beta are better. The pay-off of course is as he gets bigger it will be a better all round bike!
  15. Having A few people try it out I'd say the 04' Sherco 125 has a power advantage over the 03 and also over the Beta and GasGas 125's. Using it is another problem.
  16. the forecast is dry and Sunny if a bit cold.
  17. Couple of weeks before Chris got his 125 Sherco I lad swopped his 2003 Beta 250 for Chris's REV50 to try. It took us a while to get it back because He was having Fun on it!!
  18. Anybody going? I'm hoping to get there early as the Parking was a bit churned up on Sunday.
  19. Probably goes back to the days when a 250cc road bike was the largest a 17 year old could ride without a full licence. Now that 125 is the largest (throughout europe I believe) that is what the FIM have settled on. I think that in the states they have 125 MOPEDS in some states and licences are not required in others for "small" bikes.
  20. I'm Sealing around any gaps under the read guard with Silicone sealer. (125 04 model). I would say tho that if anybody does do a guard similar to that on the Beta's that basically blocks mud going forward I would be very interested.
  21. Yep Dougie Came off on the same obsticle as Fujigas. The "Cigarette packets" (Now bike boxes). Fuji Broke the handlebars on his bike and cracked his ankle. Dougie just bashed his Knee. Both were very dramatic from My position and they did call for first aid for Fuji.
  22. Didn't see Her at Dob Park but We left early after the trial as the Car park was iced up and everybody was making an ass of themselves on it. (Including My Son who Had to buy some new bars out of his Christmas Money as he laid the bike down fast enough to bend his!). Heard a few other "names" fell over themselves so laid off him later!!
  23. He got a Sherco 125 in for My Son!
  24. I have bought from all the following and found them all Helpful, all will give u advice and let u try bikes If they have them. TW are usually around any time unless there is a local club holding a trial in which case they will be there instead! (Richmond, Ripon, Yeadon Guiseley) They will be at the Reeth trial on the 26th and Steve told me The Yeadon Guiseley on the 28th). www.twbikesport.co.uk www.rpmmotorcycles.co.uk <mention of this company is not permitted on Trials Central> White Bros 01325483121 D.M.S.
