i got a pack with 4 of these at the local car shop for 2 quid m5 -25 filed the end a little and used the spring off the crappy plastic thing, can adjust it now with any flat blade screwdriver easily ,,,works ok for me,,

Ive replaced with a metal one ,and a small spring , 2012 evo ,, no problems so far ,, and yes the 2012 seems to run really clean, best evo ive had so far ,,,

Just and a word or two to point out the great service i recieved from beta uk this week, had a problem with my 2012 evos front brake caliper , a small crack , one phonecall to Gary and i picked up a new caliper today,complete with pads . No hassle just great service,, THANKS FELLAS ,,,,,,

i have fitted ajp to betas before and it was a straight swap, easy,

New forks ,, different brakes,,, at a guess/

great backup , and honest reliable advice, plus the beta is one of the best available,,,

Have you installed the six small o rings in the top of the barrell? if there is a small circular recess you need them: if the top of the barrell is flush ie no recess you dont need them,,,hope this helps,,

WHAT in all 4 of them ???? seriously if its running ok ,, give it good clean spray some wd40 or similar inside, leave the cover of and run it for a few minutes ,then put it back together should be fine ,probaly due to washing , hope this helps.

New fuel tank made from thicker ali , new water pump, to make more use of the U shaped radiator, repositiond fuel filler ,, not fuel injected,imho,, looks great

I dont really have any difficulty filling the bike ,once youve fuelled it up a few times its easy, just got to give the cap a wipe over before filling if its really muddy, still liking the bike a lot,,

the sherco looks better to me ,,, not keen on the black and gold colour scheme,, look forward to a report on how the 300 sherco rides,,

hi basher,you can adjust the damping on the rear shock on the 2010s if you want to make it quicker turn the screw anti clockwise, gearbox gets better with use , its vital too fit a fuel filter before the pump,,we have 3 of these and find putoline light gear oil works best in gearbox 450 ml.

We have 3 of these a 250 mine and sons 290s ,, i have to say the bikes are really very very good,, weve fitted fuel filters between the fuel tank and pump ,, were we practise is extremelly muddy at times and we had a few issues with muck in the carbs before these were fitted but no problems at all since ,, . The design is realy well thought out and maintenence is boringly simple. One of the lads is 6ft 3 and a bit heavy handed but after some really big crashes hes still not not broken anything. The 250 engine is superb, for me very smooth but more than enough power, best of all the lads results have improved as well after only a month. All in all so far were very pleased with the new models,,

Its vital to check that you have some free play at the rear brake pedal,,,,a couple of mill before the brake rod starts too push into the master cylinder,, hope this is clear,,,

Had a new 2009 evo 250 no clutch rattle at all have 2 month old 2o10 evo 250 clutch rattles considerably my son,s have 2010 290s not as bad as the 250, but i dont think theres any problem at at all, just a noise , pull the clutch it goes away,, my dealer is top notch ,, and lampkins 15 minutes away,, but i wont be taking it back,, ill just enjoy riding it,, using atf in the gearbox,, clutch works perfectly,,, personally i can live with the noise,,,, happy riding.

Have used ipone and castrol tts for a few years both seem fine never had any problems with either,,
