June 23, 20197 yr Hello, I'm a new member from Syracuse NY. I have 6 vintage Yamahas and a 1969 Triumph Bonneville. Here is my '74 TY250 which I adore. I do all my own work. I just posted a question regarding the TY autolube in this forum. Dude
December 5, 20196 yr finished this project a few months ago. 1970 Hodaka Ace 100 mildly converted into a trials bike. The only mod to the frame was relocating the foot pegs because I wanted to be able to put it back to stock. It has a flywheel weight added which was a pound and a half and I made a more tucked in exhaust but the motor is other wise stock with a fresh rebuild. I ended up putting the smaller tank on it due to leaky fuel taps on the original but I like it better so it will stay. It has proven to be a fun little bike. Edited December 6, 20196 yr by scot taco
December 6, 20196 yr Popular Post My OSSA TR77 Verde 1979 The footrests have been relocated lower and rearward a Mikuni VM26 fitted with pleasing results, Saftek brake linings make it stop well and rear tail silencer made from an old motocross one cut down. The sump shield originally fitted to the bike is made from steel and very heavy, I found one from a slightly earlier MAR identical in appearance but made from alloy so much lighter. I have since found a nos Renthal one these do not have the curved sides but have yet to try it on the bike. Edited December 7, 20196 yr by trialsrfun
October 7, 20205 yr Hopefully, when I repack the exhaust boxes, and change the fork seals, I'll have a runner that can be used. I just hope the exhaust clear out will allow it to produce a bit of power as it starts and ticks over fine.
