I read that from 2007 all trials bikes have to meet Euro 3 emission rules. Only on roads I think but anyway this must be good for the 4t.

Its a real shame Sherco messed up with the 4T coz I liked it much more than the 4RT and I am convinced it would have been the most dominant 4T on the market by now if it was right when they released it.

Quite the opposite, IMHO. if its emissions only then if a 2t meets it why have a 4t at all?

It is not only the emission that makes the 4t a good trials engine, but many other things such as traction and smoothness. But that was not my point. I'm not so sure that today's 2t can meet the requirements of Euro 3, without a heavy rebuild. The question is, is a 2t really that much better than a 4t that developing a 4t is not an option.

There all in denial.

There was actually one hell of a 4RT turn out at the Cleveland.

I noticed that as well. There seems to be a lot about, certainly on the Clubman routes in the North at the moment.
