I'm not sure if this has been posted before or not, a great video which ends in a huge crash with broken bones unfortunately. He disappears out of sight and when asked if he's ok, simply replies "Ambulance" Top lad! http://www.hopetech.com/page.aspx?itemID=SPG325

Hi all, I'm wanting to put some more practice into my balance etc and I'm thinking about getting a trials bicycle because during the week i struggle getting out and about on my trials bike (motorbike) as i have to load the bike on my van and drive 30-40 mins to my practice area. I've had a quick look and wondering if anybody had any good pointers etc and what size wheel bike to get as there are three sizes and i am 6ft 2". I know its abit off topic compared to other posts but if anybody could help me it would be much appreciated! Cheers

Hi all. I just bought my first cyclo Trials bike - I'll be 37 in a couple of months though and I'm so unfit just tying my shoes is an effort! I won a Mission Prodigy with Magura hydraulics for a ton on ebay and I'm expecting delivery soon. I just need to find some where to practise, lose a couple of stone in weight and I'll be away!! Are there any other late starters to bike trials out there?

Few pics of Dad junior and Sam today at the dishes took a few of Jo on his Rev 3 as well so hope he will post them up tonight as they were on his camera. How the hell they do what they do is a mystery to me and Dad? hard enough with an engine let alone pedals I had a little go on Jo's bike but decided breaking the seal on a new pack of Old Holborn seemed much more appealing and less strenuous both lads really enjoyed themselves, first time to the dishes for Sam, think he will be a regualar now.

I was just wondering if you ever had a stretch of riding nothing but biketrials for like 6 weeks or so then hopped on the moto, did you loose or gain moto techniques? I know this is a silly question but I'm in this bike trials fase and do not even look at my motocycle. I understand that bike trials is a great cross-training tool, especially for cardio, but does bike trials open your mind for more advance moto techniques? The down side of bike trials that I can see is I do not get the forearm and hand strengthening work out like I do on the moto! Seems like a little bit different muscle group. Lots of questions? sam

Round four of the Biketrial Federation British Trials Cup will be held at Bracken Rocks in just under two weeks' time on Sunday 18th September. Everyone is welcome, either as a rider or as a spectator, and no licences or memberships are needed to enter! Enrties can be made online via the BTF Events page, or by post (print the form off from the events page). Pre-entering is encouraged (deadline Monday 12th September), as it helps us enormously with the organisation, but entries will be accepted on the day as well (Please note that there will be a late entry fee of five pounds payable for late entries however). Non-UK riders are also welcome! Don't forget to check the r…

I've had a 26" trials push bike for 2 years and I have a muck about on it about twice a week. It seemed to be more suitable to buy a 26" bike than a 20" 'cos I'm 6ft2 but I had a go on a 20" mission bike last weekend and it seemed easier to hop about than my bike. So... what I'm asking is which is better for me to practise on for motorcycle trials? Also ,it seems a daft question but.. are the 26" bikes more prone to pinch-flats (when the tube is pinched against the rim 'cos of low tyre pressure) than 20" bikes? Suppose it maybee depends on the make of the tyre and sidewall strength Cheers in advance for any replies Rob

I know I am probably in the wrong forum for this right now but I had to ask. I ride bicycle in the off season from october till april to try and stay in a shape other than round. I have realized that the monty 219 magura (my present ride) is just too short for me being 6.0'. So I am doing my research on zoo, koxx, and other brands. I want to build up a real trials bicycle and take it serious this winter. I am seeing this interesting new frame from trialsin (which i was surprised changed hands). Anybody used the FTW frame? I want to stay with a mod bike because i like the manuverability. (makes me feel like a hero) I am really just starting the research phase and…
