I'm p****d off with trying to bleed brakes on my bikes. Is there a device available to buy to reverse bleed the system?

This is up on the front page, but for those who don't venture out of these forums, it's worth a repost here... Hi I'm just interested in peoples opinions, as I can see if there was say 100 4strokes riding in one event (it might happen in a few years) there would be a huge noise problem maybe leading to clubs losing their little precious land they've got left. Cheers Chris

hi there new to this site and trials. can anyone give some advice on sealing a rear rim on a beta rev3. it seems to leak out of the spoke holes, only had bike about a week and was fine until i got back yesterday, there is no sealant around spoke nipples just a real heavy duty rim tape,

Hi i'm wanting to get the frame of my sherco powder coated, however i'm unsure as i bought a bike on ebay and went to collect and there were no frame numbers or engine numbers on he said this is because they were powder coated, i obviously turned it down. So was just wondering would powder coating remove the frame/engine numbers? Thanks.

Does anyone have the above data? How much weigh the fly wheels of 2rt and 4rt it by brand?

I have just purchased a bike from a dealer (which I will refrain from disclosing who for now) and stupidly didn't look at the vin on the frame till I got it home, now I know this is totaly stupid and I'm kicking myself now as I should & do know better. Anyway the problem is the vin is hardly visible and looks like its been filed off!!! The frame is black but the patch where the vin number is now silver metal but not a tidy square and looks dodgy. Has anyone else got a black frame? And is the vin num in black or a silver patch? There was no v5 as I was told its never been road registered. Thanks Sparky

i just bought a 2013 beta 125 factory but the brake arent so good, so i was wondering if anyone know how to make them more responsive?

All the back and forth about rules, classes , section difficulty, the list goes on, are we ever going to get back to just worrying about cleaning the next section?. Just looking through the various threads and there's SO many on tyres, mainly on opinion of what's best? So I thought I'd start another ??? But standing back and looking at the subject from a different angle maybe(?), current situation is that there's only two serious, worthwhile competitive options for rear tyres anyway, Michelin and Dunlop and that's the way it's been for a good while. Both retail at well over £120 a time and it's mainly down to how much you can haggle your dealer down to for the best price. Is this doing trials any favours and is it a healthy situation to have the market dominated by just two realistic choices? Obviously the current situation…

I've had this happen three times now. Basically what's happend is ive either landed slightly sideways or slid slightly sideways and popped it off the bead, which has resulted a ride back to the car with a flat tyre! Is there a way to stop this like some kinda bead glue or something? Anyone else have this problem? I'm running the tyre about 7psi given that I'm 12.5 stone. (that's .48 bar and 79kg for the rest of the world) Rear tyre that is. Edit again.. It's also a new Pirelli tyre so it's not like it's old and weak...

Been riding trials for few years and I m about to fit a thumb Throttle in one of my bikes! if anyone has positive input to offer like, technical data : stroke length of the regular domino throttle and etc, would be appreciated!!. prob a lot of folks will laugh, but that's usual in a narrow minded sport such trials! the idea behind the thumb throttle is simply to find out if I can benefit of better acceleration control, specially right after a big splatter or zap. when I put my body back to lower the front end, I tend to hold that throttle open and I've been trying to correct that for while. Snapped the bugger in the cold weather and im shocked at the cost

What's the theory behind the rear suspension on a trials bike? There has been a trend towards leaning the suspension units forward on twin-shock bikes. This implies a falling rate as the angle between the unit and the swinging arm reduces as bump deflection increases. On the other hand, dual-rate springs imply a rising rate. I find it hard to work out what's going on with monoshocks as the linkage mechanism is partially hidden. It would need careful measurement and drawing to sort that out. But perhaps someone already knows.

Well, as the title really, I've been wondering about workshop necessities... What do I need? Fed up of borrowing the old mans tools... what do I need in the way of tools, oils, lubricants, nuts, bolts, washers and anything else? I know the important stuff but I'm interested to what you all reccomend? Please give a quality make/brand but good value, dont want them breaking or not doing there job properly, so yeah, shoot away people... Cheers in advance, Jamie
