More CLEVELAND NATIONAL TRIAL info. I have received the MSA permission letter today. After the event I must send them NAME, ADDRESS, MACHINE ridden and REGISTRATION number of machine of all riders who participated in the event. So you WILL be required to declare your registration number at signing on. Thats if mother nature cuts us some slack.

  4. Conditions are not great at present (if it’s not under snow, it’s under water). With the weather forecasts predicting snow every day bar one for the remainder of the week, it’s looking grim. A final inspection of the course will be made on Friday, and a decision made on whether to run or not after this. The parking field is a swamp and completely unusable, arrangements have been made to use other parking areas but space is limited. IF the trial goes ahead the club would be grateful if competitors could try travel together in one vehicle where possible and park sensibly. Please check the club website, Trials central and Facebook before you travel. or contact Paul Wright…

  7. Started by beta200,

Would just like to say a big thank you to every one who helped put this event on it was top notch, Pat Galway managed yet again to lay out a route that would test all riders. I managed to watch Pune, Dibs and Jack on most of the sections and there was nothing really to seperate them, Nice to see the top lads riding round together and having a laugh with each other. And as Shirty says on his page a lot of work has started at the camp still a lot more to do for the British Championship round, so get in your car and come and watch the best riders battle it out. 8. What an awsome event. Today (sun 13th jan) has seen a truly great event, with some really good sections taking in Low north camp in scarborough, followed by sections at ravensgill (as used in EY2DAY) For anyone who either competed today well done, those moor crossings were wicked, and the sections entertaining. A credit to scarboroughdmc for laying on the trial and a big thanks to the weather, not a drop of rain and quite mild. Oh yeah and well done to the winner ian austumule, a sensationsal ride. Will wait in anticipation for next years regs which im sure will fill up very quickly indeed. Roll on colonial.

Just reminising about 2007 and the trials I have attempted, I say attempted to ride. Been some tough ones throughout the year both for bad weather and some serious clubman sections, Colonial, Wainwright, Reeth 3 day, White Rose, EY2D, Scott, to name but a few. Everybody will have their favorite for one reason or another, but I think my favorite/best ride has to be the Wainwright, finished both laps, in time and put up a reputable score, even cleaned sections 2 & 3 on both laps, still dont know how I managed that !!!! Looking forward to 2008 and riding/supporting the East Yorks/Yorshire centres in both membership and trials attendance, Cliff Collinson, Colonial, Clev…

Due to rising water levels at Keighley Gate the Trial on the 6th has had to be cancelled. The levels are already too high to run the trial and the forecast is for more rain overnight.
