Morning all. Anyone going to be heading up Hungry Hill way in a few weeks for the Talmag? I'm really looking forward to this one, especially with all the rain we've been getting. Should be a good old mud plug.... Hope to see some of you there! Pete.

As the topic title states, Sheffield & Hallamshire mc will run the annual Xmas trial at Eadons Fields near Dronfield,Derbyshire. The access roads to the venue are clear and the trial will have 3 routes to cater for all abilities. We will run 4 laps of either 10 or 12 sections depending on observers so come along and burn of some of that xmas excess! The trial will be signposted with yellow/orange arrows from the main road into Dronfield. If there are any significant changes in the weather then either call the secretary Judy Farrer on 01246 414022 or text 07545 468341 to check if the trial is still on. With most of the country in the icy grip of winter the Peak Classic Trials Club held their Round 10 of the Club Championship at a very cold Cookes Wood, Youlgrave near Matlock last Sunday. The day was cold but the sun shone and this popular venue was thankfully snow free for the 39 riders who braved the elements, some from as far afield as Wigan, Hull and Yorkshire. Mention must be made at this point of Terrance Sammon who made the long journey from Wigan only to find his Whitehawk wouldn

Just a note to say that if it is at all possible the Trial on Sunday will definately be on. I wont know for certain until Saturday but please check the clubs website www.peakclassic.co.uk for updates. I have had to cancel one round of the Club Championship i dont want to have to cancel another one. Slight change in Club championship awards due to the cancelation of Bracken Rocks last month. Previously a rider had to have scored in the class for 6 rounds of the 12 to be eligable for an award. due to having to cancel the last round and there now only being 11 rounds i have changed the criteria to must have scored championship points in the same class for 5 rounds. Even if …

If we get the weather thats been forecast the Bath Classic trial will go ahead on Sunday at 10.30am. We are meeting there on Sat morning to make a final decision.I went to the farm today, the lane to it and the car parking area are fine - but there is still quite alot of snow in the valley and the ground is frozen hard. Please check our website; http://www.bcmcc.org/ which will get updated at lunchtime. I really dont want to cancel if at all possible as its taken alot of effort to secure the venue which is new to our club, and has lots of scope. The sections will be marked out good and wide,no dangerous stuff.

Unfortunately we have had to cancel the trial at Bracken Rocks scheduled for Sunday 28th November due to sheet ice and snow on the access road making the venue inaccesable. I would like to apologize for any inconvienience or dissapointment caused but i have tried over ten tiems to get up the drive and even with traction control the ice is too bad preventing access. On the last two occaisions my vehicle slid backwards down the drive and out into the road the brakes rendered innefective because the ice is that bad. Please watch our website www.peakclassic.co.uk for updates. If we can reschedule the event we will but as the season draws to a close that is looking highly u…

Hi all, Rode in the "novice and beginner" trial today at dovecliffe, i decided to ride the 50 50 route with it being a novice and beginner trial..... this proved to be the wrong decision. I was shocked to find the 50 50 route realllly challenging....too challenging for the 50 50 route in a "begginers trial" in my opinion, anyone agree or disagree? cheers

Well you really can shout 'How much?' in Yorkshire now !.....Just seen the bargain of the year posted up on the (Friendly Club) Spen Valley web site. Come and ride the next club champs trial at Harden Moor on the 20th November and if your not already a club member (if not why the heck not?) then you can join the club for a measley 1 quid How much? - a quid! The BARGAIN of the remaining year i'd say. That's 4 top draw club trials to ride for a membership of a quid - sheesh ! http://www.spenvalleytrials.co.uk/bulletin_Trial_November_20th.html Linky goodness here is proof. This quid then covers you till the end of the year - sweet! BTW - I am also told by some big pe…

Yeadon Guiseley will be running a round of the Yorkshire Centre Championship on the 21st November Start 10:30. All Adult and Youth Classes including Conducted and Electric will be run on the day. The ADULT course will require Road Work so all bikes on that course will need to comply with the RTA. Insurance is available but check the regs on the site as it is limited.
