What a great days riding and some real gutsy performances from these girls. Low North Camp in Scarborough was the setting for what is regarded as one of the leading trials venues in the country and it did not dissapoint. A mixture of banks, rocks, tight turns all contributed to what was a great days event. Well Done SDMC. http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/tomlinsonrob...008LowNorthCamp

Entries for the lakes are now full. Thank you all for your interest. Everyone who has sent an entry to date has been accepted. Numbers, start times will be notified shortly following a committee meeting this evening. Cheers Mick. P.S Pitty we voted to go no stop we could have been the first to use the new "dynamic" rules

I really want to ride the Lakes Two Day this year, I hear its a fantastic event and a great weekend but dont know what to expect section wise. Is the Trial run on a single route or is there dual route sections? Iam a novice rider and dont want to be in above my head. Any advice would be very welcome.

Brilliant weekend - if any of you lads/lasses involved in the organisation of the trials are on here they were both spot on. Nothing tight, all sections cleanable, although it would take very good rides on some to achieve that (and there were) but most others still tricky enough to take marks if a rider wasn't right on line. So well done, thanks for the events, roll on next year. Only thing I'd change in the Bootle event is more sections in the rock streams as we just don't get to ride enough of that stuff down here, but there they are all over the place, everywhere you look, just begging to be ridden. But you could always find just one, really snotty one full of mud, j…

Sad news, the Crowthorne Trials Club will be holding its last ever trial this Sunday at Frensham Vale, Nr Farnham Surrey. Due to a lack of entries and the cost of land the sums just don't add up. If any one would like to take the club on please contact me or Neil Varney. The club runs under YMSA for both youth and adult. Very Sorry we did our best. Nick Heane

Last Round of ACU Acklams Beta British Ladies and Girls Trials Championships 28th October 2018 With just under four weeks to go until the last round of the British Ladies and Girls Championship, the Trials Park at Corton has seen lots of hard work carried out to provide an event of worthy status. As you may know, our original venue for the event became unavailable and we are very grateful to Chris Edwards of the Trials Park for coming on board; just a pity it’s not closer to Chelmsford in Essex !! We are pleased to say that four of the eight Championships will still up for grabs on the 28th October. In the Ladies, five times World Champion Emma …

The Glorious few could have been the perfect title for the 19 riders who supported the Peak Classic Trials Club when they held round 8 of their club championship at Dudwood Farm, Elton, Nr Matlock last Sunday 18th September. The Trial also incorporating round 5 of the East Midland Centre ACU Classic Championship. Perhaps the disappointing numbers were because of a dates clash with two other local Classic Clubs who chose to run a road trial and an endure on the same day who knows but the organisers Paul and Donna Beswick are very grateful to the riders who did turn up to support the Club. The forecast rain failed to materialize until after the event which was thankfully m…
