Can I download some regs anywhere for the Classic round March 19th. Haven't done this trial before, but have heard it's well worth the trip.

Midland Classic Trials Clubs 3rd February meeting was held at a cold but sunny Berrycliffe Quarry with a 9 section 5 lap course laid out over and around the rocks that this well known venue is famous for. The majority of the marks were lost on section 3 a rocky climb with a couple of tight turns and steps thrown in and section 7 a steep climb with a very sharp turn back down catching out a fair number of the entry. The Expert unit class was a bit of a Tiger Cub whitewash as the top three placings were all on the same make of machine. I rode the DTZ400 in the CHG Long Distance Trial on Sunday, we were lucky with the gorgeous weather and the 32 sections on and around the Cotswold Hills were spot on. This year the SCRMC is running a round of the SACU support championship(Youth,pre-65/twinshock and Over 40) at Cold Chapel farm,Abington on sunday 20th June. We usually run this trial at Balfron but feel this venue suits it better,more parking and a longer lap with a variety of sections. I have sent regs out to a lot of last years entries from Balfron and Abington but if I have missed you out the forms can be downloaded from Trials Central or mail me and I will send you a form. Not seen any other post on here other than the super quick results service but last weekends Normadale double header was a cracking weekend and thanks must go to all that helped put the two events on. I believe both trials had full entries and the organisers put on events that admirably catered for this number of riders.

Milton Buzzard will be hosting their Bob Hilder Trial at just off the A10 near Puckeridge in Herts on Sunday 25th. This is one of the best bits of ground available to the club, with a hard bottomed stream (rare round here), plenty of climbs, logs and other natural obstacles. About a 2 mile lap as well so a good ride round. Venue has plenty of parking, with no entry limit entries are avalable on the day. Come along and make the most of the decent weather!!

The winter weather in Britain nowadays is very changeable and unpredictable and on the Friday while Paul Beswick, the Clerk of the Course, and his two helpers Jim Wickstead and Tony Shaw endured freezing torrential rain and temperatures in minus figures whilst setting the course for Sundays trial who would have thought the sun would shine on Sunday for this the penultimate round of the Peak Classic Trials Clubs 2012/13 Championship. Thank goodness for pressure washers was the cry that went up from the 69 riders who competed in round 1 of the Peak Classic Trials Clubs 2011/2012 Club championship after 4 laps of 10 sections at Dudwood Farm near Elton Matlock Derbyshire it was amazing there was any mud left in the field looking at the amount that was taken home on the bikes. The course wound its way up the stream and over some large rocks reminding the entry that the Scottish Pre65 is not that far away and provided good practice for the many members that have been lucky enough to secure an entry in that prestigious event. British Ladies Trials Championship Round 1 The Isle of Wight Motorcycle Club is pleased to be organizing Round 1 of the British Ladies Trials Championship to be held on March 12th at Knighton . The club will be running 3 routes to encourage any female rider of any ability to compete, this will be a strictly female only event So come to the Isle of Wight and help make the opening round a great event, The format of the trial will be 3 laps of 12 sections. The Bon Accord Motorcycle Club are running a round of the SACU youth, pre 65, twinshock and over 40s championships on the 1st of April 2007 at Craiglash west of Banchory on bonny royal deeside. (Not far from Andy's true home). This is a fairly new venue that the club thinks a lot of. It gives a good lap with a great mix of section types but no burns I'm afraid. Afternoon all! Was just wondering if anyone was going to be riding/watching the 'Old Codgers' at Hungry Hill this weekend? I've had a very generous offer from a friend to ride his 250 Greeves which I've accepted! I've not been before so was wondering what to expect. Being a Classic event, and at Hungry Hill I'm guessing lots of long steep climbs and descents? I imagine an assault on the Hungry Hill itself will on the cards? Just a reminder that we are holding round 1 of the Clubs 2010 Championship at Dudwood Farm near Elton Derbyshire on this Sunday 28th Feb start 11.00. Classes for British bike, Twinshocks and Air cooled monos along with three routes Expert, 50/50 and Clubmen so something for everybody. Also there will be a burger van in attendance along with a van selling parts and accessories for Classic and twinshock bikes. Finally there will be a presentation after the Trial at the Miners Standard pub of the awards for the competitors in the Clubs 2009/10 Championship. See you there

can anyone tell me can you ride a air cooled mono solo at the brittish sidecar round in the isle of man? im sure i seen a couple in the results.

I dont know if anyone else on here rode the 25th anniversary Dartmoor two day over the weekend,but I'd just like to thank Mike Naish and the SWCTA team for putting on a brilliant event over some lovely trials land.(Aptly named Paradise...) The sections were excellent,the variety of bikes was too,(Apart from there only being 2 rigids out of nearly 140 bikes) and the banter was top notch.There were many hangover stories on the sunday(Not me - learnt my lesson there,the sunday is always harder) If you have never ridden this event I think its one of the best - well worth a look if you can get an entry.

I'd like to thank the Golden Valley team and their observers for the excellent March Hare yesterday.A massive amount of work has been put in,which isn't over yet.The number of fallen trees they had to clear was way beyond the amount of work they would have expected to do. At times it rained so hard it was difficult to see where you were going - that's my excuse for apparently missing 2 sections... But that was my fault,nobody else to blame for that. Running a road trial involves a massive amount of paperwork and organisation with various official bodies,many of whom aren't very helpful or see any sense of urgency.Then all the landowners have to be dealt with,including…
