Still, some good results for the local boys! A-class 250 1. M. Brown (67) 2. S.Haslam (85) 3. A. Wigg (102) 4. G. Kendrew (106) 5. L. Sampson (109) B-class 250 1. N.Crellin (50) 2. B. Regan (61) 3. M. Jones (73) 4. W.West (98) 5. J. Carr (98) B-class 125 1. R. Danby (34) 2. R. Andrews (51) 3. J. Walker (93) 4. A. Jones (99) 5. J. Merchant (107)

at the recent school boy champs i rode i got told by club sec of dunfermiline john davies i was unable to claim championship pionts as i did not ride the designated a route in actual fact i did ride the a route but 1 particular section was dangeorus and i spoke to the observer and he said i could miss it out for the 5 and carry on but john davies said i did not ride the a route and so got no championship pionts i find this unfair as i am a novice b rider who has been at the sport for about 6 months and gave the a route a go and found it hard as i usually ride the b route at my local club and thought id done well giving the a route a go and finishing it but i go…

Sorry to bring this up again..... But my insurance renewal has just come through and the insurer is now explicitly excluding use in motor cycle trials, not a lot of good for me as that's all I use it for - of course the fire and theft cover is useful to. Any friendly Insurers left that understand that a bike being used in a road trial is slightly less risk than Joe Blogg's Sunday ride to the Cafe on his Blade ? Your help will be most appreciated

The government in threatening to close a large number of green lanes - this will drastically effect trailriding and will have a knock on effect on all the big trials events too, such as the Sammy Miller series & the ACU Classic series, in fact any event that uses green lanes to link up the sections. Does anyone know where I could get some bike mounts to use in our Transit van to transport three bikes. They are needed to stop the bikes rolling around and would be used in conjunction with tie downs. Yommee Products do some, but their telephone number is out of service at the moment. Thanks in advance for your help.

Just wanted to say thanks to the S****horpe club riders who helped carry my lad out of Ferriby Quarry after his accident last Sunday and particular thanks to Alan Hunt who looked after him at the time. Ben has a torn Achilles tendon and will be on crutches for a while yet but hopefully no lasting damage. Once again thanks to all concerned. John Spence.
