  3. Started by boydw,

Its nice to see tha acu take on board problems and deal with them - NOT! Just been back home for dinner and had a quick read through the selected riders list, 17 on the british championship course, 5 or 6 on the masters, 29 on the expert route, 5 riders from youth. with 9 in priority order for the reserve list - Which includes riders such as Richard Timperley, Nathan Wrigglesworth etc - who both, i will admit are better riders than me! So how does the ACU board select these riders, is it on merit, previous results etc, because i find it hard to believe that Maria Conway can be accepted straight on to the expert championship list, and Richard Timperley can't, Th…

The calendar has now been sent out - and I see it has been copied form Bob Mullis site. It was also sent to TC at same time if not before! The Championship conditions/regulations are about to be sent to the Organisers - and a little tweeking may be done to a few over next few days. The British Solo Chamopionship Conditions/Format etc will not be finalised until after meeting with Orgainisers in Dec. Champ riders and top 6 Expert Class will also be invited to meetings along with Importers etc.I can confirm that Brit Champ - both Champ and Expert Clas will include a 125cc class next year. Just a few other things prior to condition confirmation - mostly as discussed at r…

  12. Started by Andy,

Having been incredibly impressed by the amount raised by Richmond's 2005 Scott Trial (as detailed here) I'm determined to do what I can to get a Trials Central Charity Team together to support their 2006 event. It's been talked about before, but never followed up on. This time I'm serious and will devote the time and effort into making it happen. We've got a number of riders on these forums who may feel that the Scott, overall is just too much, but as part of a charity relay team could have a great day being part of the toughest one-day Trial in the world and also do a lot of good for the Scott Charities at the same time. Via the site I think we could do okay on the fun…

I've met a lot of Brits on tour at the World rounds this year and we've had a great time. A thought that sprang to mind as a possibility for next year was an organised trip to a round - France, Belgium or somewhere else relatively close. I'm sure we could get preferential rates on transport and accomodation if we could get numbers together. Thoughts?

Any one actually got a copy of it, we've (Sidcup) had two emails (one from ACU, one from local centre) refering to a word file that's going around but i can't find a copy attached to any of the emails of buried on here or the ACU site. Thanks in advance - we're just trying to thrash out our 2008 dates edit : can't spell, won't spell

  18. Does anyone know if BVM or anyone else, is planning a test day this coming season? I know Sherco and Montesa have done their own thing over the past few years, but I can't recall a Beta test day- may be wrong!

I know Mike Rapley mentioned this and maybe its been spoke about before but.... Does anyone have any idea/knowledge on the Expert A and Expert B courses that are promised in 09? Q1, someone must know by now if the new course is going to lie in the middle of the existing 2 or below the 2008 experts. There's been many discussions/comments about the 2008 expert course but just exactly what has been decided? Q2, Does any one know if the existing top expert riders from 2008 are been forced/advised to ride "Expert A"? Q3, Are the ACU avoiding this question? (no offence, have checked website but no joy) Q4, Will you have to travel to round 1 to find out? Q5, Which course…
