I've just watched the portugul moto gp live! one of the most exciting races i've ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It just proves how rubbish f1 cars are too watch.

Casey Stoner once again showed us his prowess today in Aragon. After starting on pole, he only managed a third place after the start of the race. Did you notice how short a time it took him to pass Dani, then Ben? How spectacular was that, to finish the race 6 seconds in front of his team mate for the win. We could have a new world champion here, again.

I can't be the only one who thinks Hondas offer to build ( and sell ) "production" versions of the RCV is a great idea.Apparently HRC say they could build as many as were needed whether it was 10,20 or 30!.Teams could buy them for about a million including spares backup and would have a bike faster than any of the CRT teams without having to spend on development.Some people are worried that Honda would have too much influence on Dorna given that they supply the Moto2 engines and about 75% of the Moto3 ones.I would suggest that it might spur Yamaha to do the same and perhaps it would help Suzuki if they knew they could generate income which they could put back into develop…

Just been looking at the provisional dates for MotoGP next year. Why is it that Spain gets 3 rounds and everyone else has to make do with 1. Its the same with trials, the effectively get 3 again, with Portugal and Andorra only a stones throw away. Is Spain the centre of the universe for Motorcycle Sport as far as the FIM is concerned??????????

You have to hand it to Rossi, he may be older than most MGP riders, he may be amongst the tallest, but he can still cut the mustard and show most how it’s done. Good coverage from Channel 5 and the commentary plus Hodgkinson was very entertaining in my opinion.?? Well done Rossi. Cal Crutchlow gave a storming performance, keep it up ????

Winners are grinner's, well done Casey Stoner being the newly crowned 2007 MotoGP World Champion. Makes an Aussie proud to see another world champ in the record books and hopefully see a few more championships under his belt in the future. It wasnt an easy run to the finish, as he didnt seem to be happy with his setup during qualifying, but persisted on regardless for a result like no other. The race at Motegi was down to strategy from when to swap bikes and tyres selected etc made for a pretty exciting race I reckon for a close finish. It comes with great regret today, to learn that Casey Stoner will retire at the end of this, 2012 season. One can fully understand the reasons for this decision, after 20 years at the circuit, however, his talent and expertise will be sorely missed. Only best wishes extended to him and his family, with hopes of seeing him still engaged with MotoGP in some way.
